I just realized... What if the woman in Zelda's dream was Fi? - Fi always visited Link within dreams. - The dream would always be filled with darkness, but a bright light would still be cast around Fi. - Fi isn't of this world; she is the spirit of the Master Sword, created by Hylia. - Fi spoke urgently, just as she had when trying to alert/warn Link of his destiny and the troubling future. - Fi was probably there to warn Zelda of Calamity Ganon's approach, just as she warned Link of dangers soon to come.

Thing is... fi is sealed inside the master sword

@@rayoup11 While she was sealed within the Goddess Sword, she was still able to visit Link in his dreams. And during this time in Breath of the Wild's story, the Master Sword is already being wielded by Link, not trapped within its pedestal. Zelda also later states that she heard a voice within the sword; and when you complete the Master Trials DLC, you can hear Fi. So she is still there.
