Just finished this show, and Avalance was a great character! Occasionally infuriating, seeing him often choose the easy and dark road- but loved the decent kid he could be shining through. Not a bad kid, not really- just badly led and surrounded by bad influences.

no matter how many times I rewatch the series I always wish Lance stayed at the Mansion... he had redeemed himself by the end of Joyride, I get that everyone had been hard on him the whole episode, but he & Kitty literally brought Bobby, Jubilee and Bezerker in... all he had to do was stay, he could've been the new cool kid with the cool kids on clean up duty. He just *gave up* on Kitty & the best version of himself 🥺😭

It's Alvers, not Alverez. But you do know that this version of Avalanche is not canon. In the Marvel comics, Avalanche is a Greek guy called Dominikos Ioannis Petrakis.

It bothers me that Avalanche, Leech and Toad’s original name was changed, even Rogue’s name wasn’t mention. But it so does make sense to call him Lance over Dominikos. Lance, get it? Side note, they created Spyke for variation reason but sadly his character was never introduced outside of X-Men Evolution, unlike X-23. They should have made Bishop, the main character if they wanted a ‘colored’ character, he was the obvious choice.
