We really need a series with just Storm where they can explore her origins and powers cause the toons and movies portray as being so weak and vulnerable. Storm can sense movement in the air and possess empathetic abilities so it’s hard for someone or something to sneak up on her. She’s has cat like reflexes, can see perfect in near complete darkness, she an expert martial artist, gun smith, can fight with any weapon but prefers a knife or Bo-staff, can fly at Mach speeds just on wind and can travel at the speed of lightning using lightning. She can create impenetrable pressure domes, use cosmic weather, breathe underwater and in outer space, summon weather phenomena from other planets while on earth, in tune with earth and all its living beings and animals, can communicate with plants and trees and most likely animals too. Create EMPs Storm powers works beyond just simply manipulating the weather. Storm can see the world and universe in terms of energies, she can cause heatstrokes, frostbite, seizures, vertigo, suffocation, severe pain and is able to see the human nervous systems or electrical signals which enables her to see and accurately predict her opponent moves and can somewhat manipulate human bodies to some degree because we are comprised of the very elements she manipulates and has even used this to help keep Magneto alive and at full power in the comics as well as sharing her life force with him. She can use air pressure to explode ppl, sentinels and buildings from the inside out as well as use air to block sound which would make her a dangerous opponent to Dazzler (which Storm was able to use air to amplify both Dazzler’s and Spectrum’s powers during a combo attack) and Black Bolt. Storm can create EMPs, if she so chooses she can use magnetism like magneto but not on his level but unlike Magneto Storm can affect all metals not just Ferrous metals. Storm can alter materials such as clothing at a sub molecular level to change its appearance and most recently this ability has evolved to an sub atomic level as she can embody the weather itself..clothing as well as her body. Storm is able to take earthly weather into space with her to protect her from cosmic temperatures which I don’t even know why when her body is capable of adapting to extreme temperatures anyways but I guess it’s to show that she has "absolute control over weather" as no one else can weather her storms cause she has total dominance over all weather manipulators…she an Omega-Level Mutant. Storm is also a threat to telepaths in more ways than one cause she possesses an indomitable will and a powerful spirit through her ancestry, she was trained to defend her mental against powerful telepaths by the most experienced and powerful telepath, Xavier, and of course the natural psionic electricity the her her brain naturally produces plus her lightning is nigh-fatal, if not, to any psychic.

It's a shame we will never see a crossover between Wolverine and the X-Men and the Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Especially when Storm was in Africa as a local nation's queen and goddess, and would have gotten attention of T'Challa the Black Panther of Wakanda.

@@OpticalSorcerer I vividly remembered people groaning when it turned out to be yet ANOTHER solo Wolverine episode lol. Or when the X-men were involved they acted like they couldn’t do anything unless Wolverine was given directives or was present. It was crazy. Such potential wasted trying to make it a Wolverine series with X-Men cameos.

@@pattifan It drives me crazy how people rave about this show as if everyone else's screentime/development wasn't cut in favor of Wolverine; even moreso that some have argued that it's only because it was 1 season. Um...that's 26 episodes. That's enough to not showboat Wolverine--especially since every filler episode involved him. Emma and Cyclops were only relevanr in relation to Jean (and thus discrediting Beast's role in discovering how the mansion was destroyed); Storm and Angel only starred in one episode (and their romance, while neat, was SO left-field and underdeveloped), Nightcrawler and Rogue were reduced to background characters after their mini-arcs were done, and everyone else was kinda just...there.

Yea, it's really sad. Especialy after I found a video where a youtuber maked an interwu with Christopher Yost who write the story of this Show sad they had actually already finishing the story for season 2 and had already new chracters ready for it, but hav sadly not the necessary financial support.

The writers had to. They actually admitted Storm was too powerful of a character to properly use in the story. She nearly destroyed all of African civilization by accident in the show as an example.

@@unseenentity1908 Yes, but Jean is a waif who is mostly knocked out due to poor control over her vast power or kept out of the plot for story reasons. Storm doesn't have that kind of status and has more control over her powerr, hence they can't use her too much without giving her some kind of visible handicap or making her careless. Think about the characters before you comment.

@@EmptyMan000 Doesn't matter the writers always bring these teams together knowing that some will be nurfed more than some, like superman for eg, very powerful but sometimes watered down to make room for others. If a character is too powerful simply bring up their greatest and deadliest foe who can outsmart in ways that raw power can't, which then makes the team very vital for survival

In Scarlett Witch #2 writer Stephanie Williams did Ororo major justice changing Storm from having “untapped magical potential” to having active witch powers. In this issue Wanda needed to go somewhere but the place she needed to go required 2 beings of magical birthright to enter and even Storm tried to apologize saying “Wanda I’m flattered but I’m no practicing sorceress” to which Wanda shut everything down saying “the potency of ur BIRTHRIGHT dwells in u nonetheless” Aka u might depend on ur Atmokinesis (weather manipulation) in battle but even that is powered by witchcraft as u come from a long Royal powerful line of African witches that’s goes back to the dawn of humanity itself and also blessed by demiurge elder Goddess Oshtur n her sister Gaea. Once they got to the island Storm noticed that their was something covered in fog and she cleared it to which Wanda said “Ororo u r def part of the sisterhood”. Storm didn’t know what she meant and Wanda said “u see things others do not that was no ordinary fog it was a magical barrier meant to keep this island hidden as I said before practicing sorceress or not ur gifts are potent” also aka (ima keep breaking it down for y’all) the island that they went to was hidden by MAGIC but Ororo could see the island cuz she’s a magical being. Wolverine, Rogue, Gambit, Beast etc WOULDNT of seen the island it would’ve been completely hidden to their eyes, Jean n the professor wouldn’t even be able to see it they might’ve been able to sense it cuz they psychic but Storm being a witch and of magical birthright whether she likes it or not could sense and SEE it, that’s her witch side coming out. It’s now canon that Storm even tho she doesn’t practice the magic in her bloodline is so powerful that has STILL developed her witch powers despite not actively practicing and they surface for her whenever the situation calls for it even if she doesn’t realize it. So now we know Storm has “witch sight” n “magical awareness”. Not to mention the fog was a magical barrier like a force field, made of MAGIC. Remember Storm saw the fog first and cleared it out the way, a FOG force field made of magic which means that when Storm brought the force field down she thought she was jus using her weather powers which she was but Wanda was telling her when u brought the magic force field down u used magic as only magic can undo magic. So now we also know her magic is tied into her weather manipulation. After that lesson they face a powerful water demon that Wanda couldn’t defeat on her own, Storm tried to help but mocks her mutant powers as ⚡️ didn’t work against it. Wanda tells Ororo she meant why she said about her being part of the “sisterhood of witches” n to focus on that (magic) when she summons ⚡️ and in that moment Storm cast her first spell saying “GREAT ANCESTOR AYESHA I CALL UPON U FLOW THROUGH ME SO THAT WE MAY OBTAIN WHAT WE SEEK N NOTHING MORE”, as she said that her ⚡️ turns into the 7 power symbol n binds the water demon n place. Fun fact Ayesha is Storms great great great great many many greats grandmother and the first human Sorceress Supreme holding the title for almost 4,000yrs. Ayesha used the magic from the family’s bloodline to make her durable n extend her lifespan another testament of the things Storm could do if she started practicing. Ayesha was also the most powerful magic user n her time as Aggamotto was looking for the next Sorcerer supreme n came to earth n held a competition with ALL earths magic users competing with their own raw powers for the title n AYESHA won. Ayesha was the first of Storms ancestors to thanks to her mom have the power to wield raw arcane mystical power n witchcraft, raw power n magic from her father who was a Faltine as Ayesha could also travel the multiverse. Ayesha Faltine father is also where the blue eyes n white hair comes from (like Clea who’s also half Faltine). The third blessing of power given to Ayesha when she was born came Oshtur herself, Oshtur blessed Ayesha with the power to control the forces of nature n that particular known as the “windrider gene” surfaced n the bloodline every 5 generations (all women of the line were born witches with powerful magic but Oshtur blessed them as every 5 generations one gets to be born with blue eyes n white hair presence of the Faltine n also the weather manipulation). Ayesha used all that n battle Aggamotto made her Sorceress Supreme she was so powerful. GODDAMN THIS ALL JUS SHOWS HOW EVEN MORE POWERFUL STORM WOULD BECOME IF SHE STARTED PRACTICING HER MAGICAL BIRTHRIGHT. SHE WOULD BECOME A TELEPATH, TRAVEL THE MULTIVERSE, SPELL CASTING N EVERYTHING. Her blood line already made her a real Goddess allowing ppl to pray to her and now we know SOME of her witch powers have developed n been around all along letting us know the magic n her from her bloodline is so powerful that abilities have manifested n are “potent” as Wanda said even tho she doesn’t practice
