in the comics, Klarion the Witch Boy was given the surname of Bleak, and he was a foe of Etrigan the Demon, calling Jason Blood "Uncle Jason" for amusement more recent versions in the comic shows that Klarion Bleak originated from an underground civilization known as Limbo Town, it was where the historical lost colony of Roanoke ended up, the people who lived in Limbo Town dressed like puritans and practiced witchcraft, they even had their own version of the Bible called the Black Book, the witches of Limbo Town specialized in necromancy and would bring back their dead as Grundys (Solomon Grundy kinda of zombie) and control the Grundys to work in the mines, Klarion was a bit of a "divergent rebel" and ran away from home with his familiar, Teekl, to the modern world, which was known to the citizens of Limbo Town as the "Blue Rafters"

Klarion was shown to have helped the Teen Titans from time to time, but he also joined the Injustice League Dark led by Circe during the Witching War

in Young Justice cartoon, Klarion is a member of the Light and was in charge of providing mysticism expertise, Teekl is his familiar and the thing that anchored him to the mortal plane, without Teekl, Klarion cannot physically manifest himself and has to possess objects to stay in the mortal plane Klarion is partnered with Vandal Savage and the two of them were revealed to have formed a covenant of sorts when they first met, Vandal personally preferred Klarion compared to other Lords of Chaos, because he found the witch boy easy to manipulate and control thanks to Vandal's covenant with Klarion, he does not need a boom tube to go to Apokolips, as Klarion will simply teleport him there with a portal

I had no idea Klarion existed before this show, but they made him so memorable. Young Justice knew how to make magic interesting. The episodes focused on mystic or supernatural elements were the best, like "Misplaced" or "Secret".

One thing that confuses me is why so many of the people that fight Klarion keep forgetting about his obvious weakness. Like, i know hes obviously the bigger threat, but shouldnt Fate at the very least know to target Teekl if he wants to calm Klarion down quickly and efficiently?

Presumably for the same reason he keeps forgetting to protet Teekl. To keep things interesting and to avoid escalation. When Doctor Fate targeted Teekl it was after Klarion had targeted Nabu's own anchor first. In the collected clips up there we see Klarion with Teekl on his shoulders just blatantly phase through an attack. We also see him create fully combat capable duplicates of himself so he obviously could make some of him attack whoever is fighting while keeping one, or even several, of himself on Teekl guard-duty. I figure the question is less "do I remember that Teekl is his weakness?" and more "do I really want to see a Lord of Chaos get pissed off and escalate if I screw up targeting his Familiar?" When Klarion went "we're losing control of the Justice league, let's get in there and fight" Vandal went "yeah, no. You'd lose control and absolutely wreck this space station if nothing else." It's interesting that Klarion, for all that he is a chaotic and destructive force, is the one who inadvertedly *created* Doctor Fate by setting the events in motion that saw Vandal's son be chosen by the Lords of Order. Much like how he just ranted about the bus affected by his magic after he used it as a temporary host, inadvertedly giving Zatanna the idea to use it to access the Phantom Zone, which Klarion had previously admitted to having visited before.
