@@JP-hb4oz No they don't go well with my beloved finches. I do have some budgies and parakeets in my indoor aviary. Those can fly free in the bird room when I clean.

I’m serve in the Australian defence force so we move around a lot, I’ve transported my 4.5 x 1.8 x 1.8 aviary across the country for years (it flat packs {kinda}). Would love to build something like this when we stop moving; so jealous! Keep up the great work! Can’t wait for part 2!!!

Hello💙I love this❣️ I see you used treated wood. I didn’t think that was safe🤷🏽‍♀️ what wood is safe and did you use stainless steel mesh? I read everything else is not safe. Also, is that water based paint?Help please 🙏🏽 I read so much how everything is harmful to our little babies 🦜 Thanks❣️

It depends on the birds. My birds don't chew on the wood or Mesh. Parrots and parakeets do. However I never had problems with treated wood also not for my parakeet. I do use different paint for the mesh. Check my parakeet videos to see which Paint I use.

@@MrAviary I read to use 1/4 by 1/4 inch hardware cloth to keep out young mice. Also put this wire over all the wood.

True but this will prevent rodents from. digging in. I have seen multiple aviaries with a natural ground where mice and rats had dug themselves in. But I will make it more natural at the end so stay tuned for part 2.
