I am very hesitant to believe the story, besides the fact I am a skeptic, the families behavior does not seem like a logical response. Besides the fact the cops were never called, there is no way a parent would leave their child in a house that they believe is haunted.
@thatperson24464 жыл бұрын
From what I can tell, the thing didnt seem harmful until the end. Nothing it did would make me feel like I'm at to much of a risk to not stay home for an hour or two, when you know that's your home and you got no where else to go and you wanna stay home you'll convince yourself you're fine to do it. How I see it, they left right after it showed its willing to hurt them. I mean if that's your home and you cant leave without going bankrupt you're gonna sometimes be home alone, over the span of a month there's gonna be a moment where youre home alone plus if that was me I would be somewhat wanting to get a video of it. Seems like towards he end they wanted proof and until the end like I said it didnt seem malicious, just annoying lol so wanting to get a video if this thing doing something like dropping something would constantly be on my mind. And as for going to the cop, you go to the cops and tell them a ghost is trashing your home lol see how that goes for you

@@riftur7636 i spent a good part of my childhood in a haunted house. It wasnt as bad as this one, but it was pretty bad. Their behavior is the same as my family's. We were poor and couldnt afford to move. and what are the cops going to do for you?? seriously. We never called the cops. That'd be pointless. My mom did have a catholic priest come out and he blessed the house- but that only made the activity in the house worse in some ways. and yeah, my parents left me and my sister alone plenty of times. First of all, my Dad was in denial- just like this Dad was. Secondly, there was just no way around it, my folks were poor and sometimes us kids had to be left at home, and so you always just hope this day nothing will happen. Things would be calm some days. Other times, my Mom came home to find us all huddled in the snow outside- we'd rather freeze to death than stay in the house alone when the shit was going down. After 14 years of living in that horror we were finally able to move out. The family that moved in after we left had 3 teenage boys. Within a week the entire family was sleeping in the living room together. We had warned them not to move in there, but they didnt believe us. I was in my mid 20's before I was able to sleep with the lights off. You can be skeptical. But I know this stuff is real.

This story is reminding me of an incident that happened when I was a child. My family and I woke to a weird scene one early morning. Much like the story, we found all the bottles from the bathtub, and bathroom cabinets, arranged in a big circle on the floor. Then in the kitchen, everything that was in the fridge, was now in rows on the floor. Everyone believed that i did it, even though i was pleading otherwise. Well a few nights later, i was woke by the sound of my bedrooms door being closed. Even though i was totally freaking out at this point because i was convinced that we had a ghost, I walked out of my room to investigate. I seen the bathroom light was on so i go peek inside. What I see is, my older sister sitting in middle of the floor gently placing bottles all around her. I then run to wake my parents so they can witness this, with their own eyes, in hopes to get myself off the hook. Everyone was so sure it was me. So, we all sneak in to the bathroom and then my mom says," what are you doing?" My sister just continues arranging the bottles like she didn't hear a thing. We soon realized that my sister sleepwalks, and does weird things.

or.... it's just people not being able to accept that something paranormal is happening so they get angry at each other thinking one of them is responsible. I don't think this was "evil", I don't think "evil" is an actual thing that exists in reality - it's an entirely human concept that relies upon a subjective sense of right and wrong, which are never quite the same for all people. In truth nothing and no one is purely good or purely evil, things are a lot more complex than that. None of the activity was actually that malevolent or harmful before that point. It didn't try to harm anyone and it basically seemed to just be trying to annoy the shit out of them/scare them out of the house, probably because it viewed them as intruders. I think the peace offering would have worked, if Matt wasn't so insistent about being violently opposed to even acknowledging the shit happening in their house. Like why throw the peace offering, even if you don't think the paranormal entity is even real, why does their little peace offering ritual offend you so much and why do you feel the need to destroy it? lmao.

Because Matt rightfully recognized that what they were doing whether they knew it or not was witchcraft. That’s why the entity brought the cat figurine back in the house. The entity was encouraging them to set up more alters or idols in its honor. The thing wasn’t malevolent? It didn’t bring them warm cookies and milk, it tried to burn the house down with the daughter in it. Did you miss that part?

I used to live in a weird house. Loud bangs, sounds of boxes sliding across the floor (when there were no boxes)...I knew I wasn’t hearing things because my dog heard these things too. A ceiling light exploded one night. My brother was with me that time. I would go upstairs to bed and find my bedroom door shut. When I tried to open it, it felt like someone was on the other side, holding it shut. The list goes on. It was a practically a new house. It’s very hard to tell people about it because they just look at you and politely nod. A contractor told me the banging was the house settling. NO!! I don’t think settling should sound like a 100 pound TV being dropped on the floor from ceiling level. I like these videos. They reassure me that I’m not the only one dealing with this stuff, and more importantly, not crazy. Yes, I moved. Lol

I used to visit with the wife of one of my cousins. Her inlaws lived next door, and both died, but never sold the property or cleaned out the house. She went over there quite a few times while her husband wasn't around, and tried to clean it out. She'd clean a room, go back and it was as if she' never been there. Her teen age daughter went with her, and they had no idea what was going on. It was a HUGE old farmhouse, and discovered most of the upper rooms on the second floor was locked. They opened the doors, cleaned out the old bedrooms, and they'd be locked the next day. They cleaned the parlor, the LR, and kitchen and the upper rooms and left it for the winter. They went back in the following summer, and all rooms were locked. They decided it wasn't worth it....and left it. To this day it's been abandoned. Her husband died, her daughter died, and she still want's nothign to do with it. She went one more time, with her sister, after her daughter and husband was dead. They went upstairs, doors were locked. They went down to the lower rooms, including the parlor and all the windows they opened were closed, and there was canned goods in the kitchen even though they they had emptied the pantry and kitchen. They left and to this day, no one has been in that house.

I was living a few blocks from this house on Bay St. back in 2006, when this story took place. During this time, as much as one-third of the houses had been abandoned, and were full of squatters. I never went anywhere after dark, not even the grocery store. The stores that stayed open after dark all had armed, uniformed security. This is why we moved out of there forever in 2007, the crime was horrific as the gangs owned that part of MoVal after the big military base shut down and many lost jobs (and homes). We couldn't get a pizza delivered because delivery drivers were being robbed (two murdered that I know of). We couldn't sell our house for anything in that Barrio, so we gave it to the bank and told them, "Buena suerte"

For sure, and I was surprised that she had the guts to confront it. It had the creepy cartoon dinosaur footprints and could start fires, so who knows what it's capable of doing. But, it also seems to feed off of the people's fear and negative emotions, because if it really wanted to burn down the house, it could have started the curtains or carpets on fire instead of something contained in a frying pan. If it could instantly plaster the house in TP, it also seems it could instantly engulf the house in flames, too. I just hope we can get rid of these things somehow, because they may be intriguing to learn about, from a distance, but in real life they're really creepy and they don't belong here.

And on top of that, one spirit seems to communicate through alexa sometimes and has said some horrifying things... it literally believes his wife is his ( spirit ) wife... he also uses this new techology that can identify figures and gives them a digital skeleton made out of lines and u see multiple ‘beings’ walk around his house, attack him, touch his wife, even interact with the camera filming them etc. It’s extremely scary, it’s the most real and believable haunting I have ever seen on camera. He seems to have a wide range of spirits too, from good to evil ones. Some even seem to pray with him while he does it. It’s LITERALLY insanity.

Some people might but NOT the police. John is out of his damn mind saying they should have called the police. That's the last thing anybody should do if they think paranormal stuff is happening! They get really really mad about anything they think is a prank. You can get fined and if you call repeatedly you can also get black listed to where they won't send officers out to your house anymore unless you tell them you're in immediate danger of bodily harm from another person. That isn't supposed to be a thing but it is. A friend of mine was a cop and he told me about this messed up incident where a burglar beat an old lady almost to death and she wasn't found for a few days cause the officers on duty faked responding to the call. She was a little out there and had called twice insisting that people were tunneling under her house and trying to come up through the floor. Apparently the officers decided crazy people can't have real emergencies. That incident is one of the ones that made my friend quit being a cop.

If we assume Ghost, spirits and similar entitiys are real and look into history and science on that there are a lot of theories. One of them is that Spirits dont like changes, so a new family moving in confuses them and angers them. A Peace offering that also comes together with aknowledging the entitys excistance could have definetly helped. Im Not sure "paranormal" exists, but im sure that ghosts exist, i just dont think they are paranormal, just something yet unexplained cause i had my own experiences and i did a looot of research because of that

You would think when he threw the cat out in the yard and it magically reappeared, Matt would see it is not normal.
@davidking77503 жыл бұрын
That character in the story really irritated me. So stupid. But if this is a true story, I bet Matt was extremely scared and coward in reality. I know about being coward. Some of us act in a way as if we pretend everything is okay and normal the problem would just magically disappear. Because if you have to face that there is a problem you'd have to show your wife and daughters that your only solution to this problem is the shit in your pants. That's why he was acting all mad and "tough" and "rational" even in the face of undeniable evidence. It was to throw off his fear. He wasn't ready to look like a coward or helpless to his ladies. I'm black and let me tell you what a black family would have done. We were outta there at the peanut butter or at least the cans on the steps. Our daughters wouldn't commit suicide by making us beat the crap outta them for wasting all that damn food on a stupid prank. So we would know it was not them in the first place. Run first, then figure shit out later. This family had nerves of steel and abnormally patient. That's why this "ghost" was having so much fun with them. Not me.....

I've learned from MrBallen stories that if your house is haunted, it might be a little freaky, but you'll probably fine. It's when there's a person hiding in your house that you really need to be worried.

You forget that the “stupid person stays in the clearly haunted house despite the clear signs he has no business there” stereotype in horror movies came from real life. People really are that stupid. Just look at the pandemic, in America, half the country is too stupid to put on a mask to slow down a disease what makes you think they’d leave a haunted house? P
