Wow I saw at the minute 7:22 a major leader of the Band of Colchester, He was holding his hat as if he was panicking because he was afraid when his hat fell on the road just like that, but it turned out to be true. At the minute 7:35 that surprised me, but the major didn't care if his hat fell because they were busy playing their musical instruments but in the minute 8:59 The soldier returned/put his hat back perfectly, thank you, soldier, I really salute & respect you. Thank you also to MrBaton74 for making the video perfectly and well.👌🙏🎩💂🏻

Fantastic video! The Drum Major leading is Drum Major Jonathan Cook, and the DOM behind him is Major Petritz-Watts. The marches played were, 1) 0:09-General Mitchell 2) 2:54-Imperial Echoes 3) 5:59-Washington Grays 4) 10:28-Glorious Victory 5) 14:52-Recce Flight

Imperial Echoes was my favorite parade-march during my service time in the Army Band. Great march Delvin!

Imperial echos is one of my personal favs and totally nailed it. Although as a euphonium player, it can be a face eater at times LOL

Superb impression of this parade! The music comes into its own through the sounding board of the narrow streets and for the public this is a great spectacle. The Regiment proudly walks over the parade ground and gives me a nostalgic feeling about my own past in the army. Great respect to the DM for keeping his dignity when his hat is blown off! Also respect for your 'strong shoulder' MrBaton, the vid is great!

Brings back many memories to me doing parades through towns and cities) l was a trombone player so on the front row. Bury was where I was born and did my army training at Blenhiem Camp, so thanks for the video. I live up north now but Bury has a special place in my heart.

Enjoyable video with the usual selection of popular marches - I like the sound of this band - probably the best of the regional bands - influence of lady DOM?

Sadly we don’t get to see this much in NZ as our armed forces are small by comparison and well spread out. Thoroughly enjoyed this. You Brits know how to put on a great parade.

Thank you very much for posting this film. It is just a pity that the people of this town don't show a little bit more support for our armed services. When the Suffolk Regiment were based in the town you wouldn't of been able to move for spectators. There was a time when our constabulary had a bit of pride in their dress and appearance, not walking with their hands in their pockets or holding their headdress in their hands and walking with a cup of tea/coffee in public. How times have changed.

First class performance as usual from the British Army Band Colchester. Just a little observation - having carried it in her right hand throughout the march, what did the DoM do with her baton when reaching the saluting base? It obviously wasn’t in her saluting hand nor did it didn’t appear to be in her left hand! I’d really love to know!

Excellent display by the regiment. Shame about the awful roads in the town. Council sort your town out. Disgraceful.
