@@Colbrow I don't find myself very entertaining lol, the biggest thing I can recommend is that when I first started making videos I just sort of threw everything together quickly. Try to focus on structures in the video, and putting thought and effort into the layout and scripting of your videos. Idk why but people find my videos entertaining, I genuinely just make jokes that I would make, and put my own sense of humor and personality into my videos. I don't find myself all that funny but your best bet is to put your personality in your videos in every aspect. For example, I love music so I spend a ton of time picking the background music for my videos and making sure it's perfect for what's happening on screen. Hope this helps :)

See he’s always talking about making higher quality videos even if that means uploading less. And I think that applies to people who are just doing random gameplay videos, but honestly my problem is that I do spend too much time on a video. Honestly quality doesn’t matter that much. It’s a value that matters. It’s going to depend on the channel and the content, but I don’t really think it’s a great idea to just say that you should focus on less uploads with higher quality
@InternetMikey
@InternetMikey 2 жыл бұрын
You have to have the mindset that the “Value” is a part of the “quality”.
@sSynclare
@sSynclare 2 жыл бұрын
i disagree honestly, imo the advice given is more towards an actual video idea that can come off as a project or something big. not 'random gameplay videos'. you can only sync in so much time and editing and thought on 'gameplay videos' that don't have the wide audience u can even bring in. it makes sense what he says if you use that kind of work ethic on something bigger and broader, i see lots of people in his discord share gameplay videos with very similar editing or thumbnails but the content itself just isn't something anyone wants to watch unless u already are super into that game

Of course he says if you’re not excited about what you do, don’t do it. But does anyone have any advice on how to get excited? How to get motivated and everything? Because yeah this does feel like a chore sometimes and I was always afraid that would happen. I know down the line I do want to hire an editor

I think this is a great question! Personally I am a FIRM believer in purpose! I believe we were all created specifically for a unique purpose and once we fulfill that, this will be the fuel ⛽️ for our motivation. MrBeast OFTEN talks about his LOVE for KZbin! I believe this is his purpose and this is why he has an intrinsic drive to keep going. Many people want the FAME or the MONEY and it’s the thing that motivates them. The problem with money or fame being the end goal is that KZbin takes a lot of work/failure to succeed, and if someone’s drive is solely money 💰 or fame, they will get discouraged when it doesn’t come quickly. So discovering one’s purpose is key. 🔑 (This is my opinion)

I think its also natural to feel unmotivated. Especially at the beginning its not easy to upload a video of yourself and talk in an entertaining way. But once you got it down, you start seeing results, it'll get much easier
@account42980
@account42980 Жыл бұрын
There are time where you're gonna be unmotivated to do things and it feels like a chore but one thing I learned from trying to study KZbin was self-discipline. Sometimes I'd get up off my bed and procrastinating for 30 mins because sometimes you'd just want to do other things and that's normal. But once you really get to do the thing you're supposed to you get sucked in and start being curious again (at least from my personal experience) So even if you don't want to, you just have to do it. I think MrBeast had some similar mentality to this from an interview, you will have to sacrifice a lot of things for the sake of your passion and will do things you won't want to, but that's just a part of the process, it shapes you, the journey is what keeps you doing the things you do, not the goal. So what you should look for is not motivation but self-discipline. Motivation only lasts a couple, but self-discipline can just pull you out of bed unmotivated and still do things
@kirsten7975
@kirsten7975 Жыл бұрын
@@account42980 very wise advice. There's a quote that goes something like "you have to be willing to be uncomfortable for a year or two in order to live comfortably the rest of your life." Of course you have to still keep working at it, but its referring to the "uncomfortableness" of getting yourself to do something that which you dont see immediate returns.

I think tags can be very helpful. Keep in mind this advice is coming from Mr. beast. I will tell you if you look at my search traffic, it’s almost always all based on what my tags were. The tags help the algorithm know what my content is about and it helps people find my videos. Mr. beast doesn’t make searchable videos he makes viral videos so he’s not as worried about tags as other people should maybe be. I’m not going for viral videos over here and challenges where I give away money to people and do weird dares. I am providing product reviews and news updates and stuff. The algorithm needs to know what the content is. People arent just going to click to see what happens when I give somebody a million dollars.
