I looked on the internet not long ago to see if he was active musically. Nothing music wise after King Diamond but if you need a new Lexus in the DFW area he's the guy to see. Guess he settled down after recording Voodoo. It sucks because he was a really good lead player. Really complemented Andy's playing. Always hoped their would be some stuff from Mindstorm stuff floating around out there but can't seem to find any.

Herb’s a car salesman? Is he Herb the car salesman that insulted Sharon Jean Mercer when she was looking for a car and Roy Mercer was gonna open up a 55 gallon drum of whoop-ass on? Just joking. Hopefully y’all know what I’m talking about. That’s really cool you went to school with him. I enjoy the little chapter of KD he put his stamp on. Gotta give it up for guys like him that helped keep great metal bands kickin ass through the 90s when things could be pretty rough for those bands. And man, it’s easy to see from this video that they were really kickin ass

I saw him on the Abigail tour in ‘87 and then again just before the pandemic. His voice hasn’t aged a bit. In a day and age when the voices of much bigger singers have gone way downhill, KD is still killing it in his mid 60’s and the full range is still there.
