Do you crop/zoom in, the un-stabilized footage? I noticed the stabilized footage has less vertical view but more horizontal view. So are you cropping the sides off of the unstablized footage to make it 16:9? Just curious, I’m constantly trying new settings and questioning if I prefer stab v. Unstab. Cheers, good work as always!
@KerniFPV3 жыл бұрын
:) good eye and good question! no the un-stabilized footage is not crop/zoomed just a lens correction was done in post, this is the 5k native resolution from the GoPro, when you but this 5k files in Reelsteady you lose some high because reelsteady does zooming in to make the stabilize possible, as I said this is min settings for reelsteady what I use so less crop :) try in the settings tap the regulator you will see that the crop is different, for this video, I just let it how it was and renders with the exact same settings just the high is a little bit different, but still over 2880 what KZbin is calling as 5k... on other videos, I did fit the native 5k to 4k in the rendering so the effect was not 16:9 like :)
@GiantAntCowboy3 жыл бұрын
@@KerniFPV Ok yea, so the lens correction is probably causing what I thought was cropping.. What do you use for lens correction in post? Thanks for the info!
@KerniFPV3 жыл бұрын

@KerniFPV3 жыл бұрын
@waldemarkraus28553 жыл бұрын
@KerniFPV3 жыл бұрын
@waldemarkraus28553 жыл бұрын
Weiter so :)
