PSA: you can do this on consoles, not with a helicopter or plane but with ur motercycle. yes in 1 stunt race you can glide all the way to the end where your camera will stop tracking you, the bike i used was the gargoyle and i did on PS4 if you want i can upload the video i think i have it saved on share play..

its a stunt race with bikes called ''Over and Under'' and there is a ramp towards the city right after checkpoint 34, so if you know how to glide just glide and go straight up, just try a couple of times, i cannot post a video right now because im not home, and if you dont know how to glide there are tons of video's on yt how to do it. i just think you need to mess around a little bit and eventually you wil get the hang of it

If you fell for 30 seconds then you started falling at 4410 meters altitude. Assuming no initial velocity of course. 4410m translates to roughly 14468.5ft which is 2.74 miles. The lowest atmosphere level is the troposphere which caps at roughly 7 miles so, on an Earth-like scale, your height in GTA V is way off from passing even the lowest atmosphere level.
