Actually contrary to popular belief sharks aren’t that attracted to blood and it doesn’t make them go crazy. Also it is likely that most of the other sharks built a resistance to blood over time thus allowing them to remain sane when there is blood around. The same thing happened with King Sharks father as when he witnessed him attacking and eating one of his siblings upon smelling the blood from his brothers wound instead of going into a feeding frenzy like his son he remained sane and tried to stop him telling him what are you doing that’s your brother.

The animators outdid themselves with this fight. The blood in the water floats just as blood would in real life. It sticks around and makes everything (but the camera for obvious reasons) blurry and mucky.

I do admit if the Sonic IDW comics ever got made into an animated netflix series for a adaption of the comic series Scrapnik Island i could see both the team behind gravity falls and the owl house working on there take on the story but having there animation style be a mix of both with the gravity falls animation done for Sonic and tails and the owl house animation for the scrapniks

Given how people including myself have given much praise to the show, can I point out that when King Shark kills his own brother, it’s based on how sharks in real life eat their own siblings in the mother’s womb? The most developed shark who’s still inside devours all the unborn and weaker siblings so it can be the dominant baby.
