You can pack an animal in a package, and they did it quite well and comfortably for that chameleon. Pet stores do not sell colorful or healthy chameleons, but the internet does.

That's how pet shops get their animals. They have fragile, perishable, and live animals written all over the box, with this side up arrows and well packed so that they don't get shooken. They come with heat or ice packs according to temperature to keep them comfortable and are shipped overnight. The darkness is pretty calming to them, they just think it's nighttime. They sometimes even take naps while being shipped. Doing a little research on reptiles and you'll find out this is normal and safe.

You can hold chameleons, but you have to make sure when you handle them that they are not stressed and if they start to show signs of stress you need to put them back, they are not an animal that can be handled and played with constantly they're fragile! I took my female veiled out maybe once every couple days on average, I tended to put her on something when she was out (like a house plant) so that I could watch her but not stress her with my hands!

I personally haven't been bit because I'm careful, but my chameleon bit my friend. She said it hurt more than she thought it would. She compared it to a puppet with screws clamping down on her.

Nah, they're hiss isn't loud at all. If you breathe out of you're kind of hard it sounds kind of like that. They only hiss when they're a little frightened or stressed. If you hand feed yours and be gentle it probably won't hiss at all :)

That cage is way to big for his size. With baby chameleons they should be in a small cage. If not they have the chance of falling and breaking some thing. Or even dying :( For future reference put a baby in a smaller cage :) but im sure he/she is doing great!! How old is he/she now?

My chameleon bit me a couple times when I had her but I had her for 4 years before she passed away (RIP) and she only bit me a couple times when I had accidentally scared her or made her stressed, she never bit me unless she had good reason! :P it did hurt but never bled a lot or anything it was more startling than painful

Loved the video, hated the melodramatic hypocrites on here. (Deberoro or whatever and randoms.) The animals are handled with precautions. Keep in mind that that's how EVERY large pet shop gets their animals. So to the whiners, get on your FaceBook, complain about it, and get over it. Either that or go blind so you don't have to "put up" with these "horrendous, animal cruelty" videos. These animals aren't being mistreated, especially not animals from LLL Reptiles.

how is it fucked up? they have a very nice set up for their pet and I'd imagine that they take very good care of it. animals can only be shipped by first class express overnight mail so its not like it takes a week to get there. I've had frogs delivered to me and they were just fine.

Ask petsmart if their animals are shipped to them in boxes. How else do you think they get there? Do you see the fragile labels on it? They take special precautions. And they are usually shipped overnight priority sipping, so chill out.

Also, just to point out, if you have any pets that didn't physically come directly from a breeder's location, then you're a hypocrite. I'm no breeder. I am not in anyway making money off of any animals, therefore I have no reason to lie. However, unlike someone, I've done my homework and research on animals as pets. I was just stating FACTS, I know people who have received animals through shipment, and everything I said was true about HOW they are shipped. It's 100% safe (from the right breeder)
