Lovely images Aleksandr. I wonder how long the open solutions with last before expiring? I don't develop as much and so limited to 1L kits and hoping that with air tight seals I get good use out of them. All the best, love the channel.

Been using it for a while already, if you keep the botles in the fridge will last quite a bit, but it's more design for labs or people who develop constantly.

Should be fine, inconsistent temperature and time in hand developing anyway will make more impact on quality. But in general- try it. I used tetenal chemicals for like a year and it was one of the best colours what i get from film.

Hello Aleksandr, Thank you for this video - its a great insight! How do you calculate the dev. times for each film,when you are using 1/2 liter delution? I can see in the Fuji kit manual,there is dev.time adjustment only for 5 films and you said you are developing 10 in half liter of developer. Thank yoU!

Hey, my scheme at the moment: I'm using 500 ml solutions for drum load from 5 films. After use - i discard it, but in general 500 ml solution you can reuse second time for the same batch of 5 films. But because i shoot not enough film i use only one shot developments - stock dev. solutions getting bad after year or so anyway. Fujihunt so far best chemistry on the market and mostly economical. It's only 100 eur for 5 liters, so basically it's 50 films single shot or 100 film of using 500 ml solution twice if you shoot a lot. Both things works perfectly well.

Did I understand correctly? You are developing 10 films in 1/2l? This means 10*10 films for the whole kit? Just got mine. Thanks!

Yep, i use 1/2l solution for development for looooong time and it works perfectly fine for me 👍

Aleksandr, Great video and photos! Ideally I'd like to follow a similar 500ml at a time approach. Curious if you took any storage precautions with the leftover/unmixed chemicals in the kit? Specially the developer chemicals. Thanks!

If it’s concentrated - i usually do nothing, in practice, you just can collect more of the batches, but in my experience freshness and condition pf the film is more important than chemicals freshness, so develop as shoot.
