😊 About MrChuy:
Jesus “MrChuy'' Garcia is an online sensation with more than 4 million followers across platforms. Jesus creates content under the name MrChuy (Chuy is a common nickname for Jesus), and he delivers goofy humor geared to fellow Latinos who will recognize and relate to the family characters and stereotypes he spoofs in his home videos. With a bath towel wrapped around his head, he often plays a typical Latina house mom. The budding comic, who speaks three languages fluently and has a degree in business from Sonoma State University, is ready to take his comedy to the next level. In 2022, he’s determined to “break the internet” and become one of social media’s most popular Latino comics while also branching out into voice-over work and TV roles.

Haaa haaa first time ever seeing this was at The Melting Pot back when my kids were little (anniversary dinner out). We were allowed 2 hours out (his mother was babysitting) we didn't get dessert and was given a coupon to go back for the dessert later. Hmm no thanks! Anything like that and I've walked out since. Nah ... Saw one in Texas that had you grilling your own steak! Insane!!

I was waiting for the reaction when they brought the raw meat out. That was exactly how my Central American parents reacted. Funniest part was when they started talking about the smart “Chino” who owned the business and ripped people off by making them cook themselves, and the Korean owner came over and started talking to them in fluent Spanish. It was a pretty pleasant conversation on his trips to Latin America. They love Chinese hot pot; but can’t get them to like Korean BBQ.

My wife is from Mexico just like this guy’s parents. She absolutely loved Korean BBQ after my son took her to a Korean restaurant for the first time. However she was very wary about it at first not being sure that she would like it.Korean food somehow complements Mexican food and vice versa. By the way while Mexicans from the “ provincias” or rural rancho Mexicans may not be familiar with Korean food , Mexicans from metropolitan areas such as Querétaro, CDMX etc .. are familiar with Korean food and it’s quite popular there.😊 p.s. My wife did ask for some “picante” and they actually had some!😂

His dad saying he’ll get sick if the meat isn’t cooked enough! 😂 My uncle used to tell us that char on the meat was good for us. It was always burnt to a crisp on the outside, but super tender from his marinade on the inside, and definitely “well done”. Damn, that meat was always delicious with grilled chiles, salsa roja and rice. My mom would make charros beans and tortillas and now I’m freakin’ hungry, thanks, y’all. ❤

I had to tell him that's what gringos called tacos with a flour tortilla. He said "Mija a taco is a taco!!!! No fresh chilies, just salsa in packets and where's the corn tortillas. Ay Dios mio!"
