I just can't seem to keep away from these bikes! took a chance on a 2012 Speed Triple 1050 as it looked so amazing, and I really missed the 2011 Black One I had before, but does it still thrill me? or did I just imagine how good these bikes are? lets find out. (And yes I'm a DIMWIT cos I forgot to start the bike AGAIN!) sorry guys :(

Love my Speed aswell mate. Can you show us the luggage as I'm thinking the same as you. I want some cheap luggage that works and try a little trip. Cheers mate. And yes I would of taken a chance as people who try a speed never forget it and always say they loved it after they have sold it and just like you buy another one. People always stop and chat to me about mine as it's the Matt grey and blue strip se version. Just love triumph as a brand and speeds especially. Cheers again Barney

Nice bike lots of good bits on that one! Got a white speedy r myself. Best mod was lowering the headlight assembly with the street triple bracket #T2700717 makes the bike look more agressive and symetrical.

Yes I was going to to do that Mod on this White One, as it was on my Black One (see my other video's) and it really changes the stance!

You can put a topbox on just about any bike, although I think a set of throw over soft panners would work better on the Speedy 😉

Most 1050 had the Twin set up, but most owner changed to a "Low Boy" single can, I don't believe Triumph made the Speedy 1050 with a single can until the RS1200 (but I could be wrong)

Great videos. After reviewing the t509, the later 955i and the 1050. Which do you prefer?

Really tough choice, the value of the T509 is crazy, so if your after a great bike on a budget, that's the One to get, the 955i is an iconic engine that seldom goes wrong, and again can be bought for very little money, and the 1050 is just ludicrous fun to ride! So on a budget the T509 but if you can stretch the budget...... The 1050 is the best choice I think 😁

Obviously the newer model feels a fair bit more refined, the headlight design makes it look much more modern too, brakes are a delight! a little quicker off the line, and turns in better IMO. But I still have a soft spot for it's older Brother . However.... if you can find a bit more cash, then the newer model is the better buy 😁

@@jerryx2000 It really depends if you thinking of the 955i or 1050 engines? the 1050 is far more refined, and had a few modifications I believe on the 2012+ models, but the 955i is an amazing engine too. Personally I would go for the 2012+ engine everytime, as everything is just a bit better 🙂
