Get yourself an interphone or cardo intercom .. epic .. connects to your phone , listen to music and or connect to fellow intercoms for an on the move chat .. super fun. I also hate wind noise .. I always wear a buff and cover my ears. 9:07 😊 ear plugs hurt after a while . Love and want a multistrada, dream bike and I agree v4 isn't as pretty.... buuuut v4 engines are too good to pass up if given the chance

Hi i live in the city and wondering is this bike sleek to weave and all? It is a good height for a 170cm like me?
@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes
@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes 9 күн бұрын
Well I'm around 183cm and it's great for me, with lot's of leg room, but not certain about 170cm, I would suggest you try and sit on One to be sure. As to traffic, this is really easy to ride pretty much anywhere! I've not had any issue's at all. Thanks for the comments 😁

Thanks Trevor, I wasn't certain, you would think it was across the board though being the S version? although I'm not overly bothered, as I have read some horror stories about these, and I can still just about put a key in a hole, even at my age 🤣

Nice bike, but I've always steered clear of Ducatis due to perceived reliability issues and the high costs of servicing. I bought my Speed Triple from Laguna. They were awful. Bike was delivered with a flat battery, totally flat, spent 3-4 days charging it. Then once got it going found it had gearbox issues, couldn't get it into neutral, false neutrals, the dreaded 3rd/4th gear problems, jumping in and out of gear. Laguna told me I had to pay to get my bike back to them, 120 miles which would cost me about £180 and in any case they couldn't look at it for at least 6-8 weeks as they were that busy. Bought it with a Triumph Approved warranty as well which they told me was same as manufacturers warranty. It's not. Bike was described as immaculate like new with only 1,100 miles on the clock, one owner. Asked for FULL service to be done on the bike before delivery ie ALL fluids changed and documentation to support this. Never got any. I doubt they did the full service. Anyway I ended up with a bike that was dangerous that I couldn't even ride having spent over £11k on. I was not happy. Laguna didn't want to know. Nightmare. Took it to local Triumph dealer who adjusted the clutch as they said it wasn't properly adjusted. This seemed to improve things in that I could get it into neutral without turning my bike off, but then started getting false neutrals changing gears particularly 3rd to 4th. Gently rolling on the the throttle accelerating it would dangerously jump out and immediately back into 4th gear repeatedly from 2.5k up to 7-8k revs. You basically had to miss out 4th gear. Was really dodgy trying to over take traffic. I daren't lean the bike over in a bend in either gear and roll the throttle on gently as it would violently jump in and out of gear. Dangerous, could have lost control of bike having fatal consequences. Local Triumph dealers also had very long wait times to even look at it and neither had technicians who had experience or capability to rebuild the gear box. So I was stuck having bought a lemon. Eventually after 8-9 months of not being able to use my bike, I found a Triumph dealer up north who were recommended to me by another Triumph owner who had had probs with his Thruxton R and these guys sorted it for him. Took my bike up there. They rebuilt the gearbox, sorted out all the other issues and pretty much to the day ONE YEAR after I bought it off Laguna I now have the bike I should have received at the start. They have rebuilt the gear box, sorted out all the other probs and serviced it properly. It now rides beautifully as it should have done the day I received it from Laguna but didn't. I wouldn't buy anything from Laguna ever again. Awful experience. Would never ever buy another Triumph. Anyway I shall look forward to further vids on your Ducati Multistrada as it is a bike I just don't know and it seems very capable. How many miles has it done?

Blimey that sounds like a true horror story Alex! so far they been OK with me, few niggles but quickly sorted, their PDi check wasn't great, but we'll get into that in a future video. As to the Stripple you had, I assume that was the RS? as I have steered clear of those asfter hearing about the gearbox and QS issue, both of which are very well documented. I''m a big Triumph fanboy, but they seem to really have screwed up on the RS models, even the 1200RS has similar issues!

@@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes It's been a nightmare tbh. It's still not over as I am substantially out of pocket because of it and need to try to get some of this money back. As I say I would never buy anything off Laguna again. They charged me £300 for a PDI check. I cannot see for the life of me what they did for it, if anything, given the bike was supposedly still like new and immaculate. Yes my bike is a Speed Triple 1050RS. Gorgeous bike imho hence why I bought it. On-line. Won't do that again. Yep I subsequently found 30 pages of woe from other unhappy owners of 1050 Speed Triples RSs on the Triumph forum with gearbox problems. When I read it all I felt like I had been kicked in the guts. Regarding the RS models, I think Triumph got them pretty much spot on. The problem seems to be that Triumph won't acknowledge that there is even a problem which could be down to any number of causes whether a faulty batch of components in the gear box, compatibility of the gearbox with a QS, what ever, who knows? They certainly don't seem to be giving it the attention it needs nor supporting unhappy customers. Pretty bad really. I wanted to buy a new Speedmaster at much the seem time. Understandably I didn't. Wouldn't touch the Triumph brand now after my experience. I don't know about the Speed Triple 1200RS. When I test rode the 1200RS back to back against the 1050RS I preferred the 1050RS as the engine has seemingly more low down torque and made for a better experience riding on the roads. The 1200RS I had to rather rev it to get it to go by which time you were well into license losing and life losing territory. Fine on a track but not the roads. I found it quite tiring to ride. Much preferred the 1050RS which is what I bought about one year later when I found the one at Laguna. It seemed just the ticket..... or so I thought. Hopefully mine is now fine. Fingers crossed. Triumph should have issued a recall as the gearbox failure is critical safety issue meaning if it does it develop a fault as mine and others have done it could result in serious injury or death. Laguna denied all knowledge of any faults with the gearbox nor that a recall was issued in conjunction with VSOA regarding a gearbox selector lever in 2019. Mine still had the original selector lever so they hadn't even change that. The guy at Laguna even argued with me telling me my bike was not affected. They weren't interested. They weren't going to help me. Pretty bad really. The Triumph dealer who actually repaired mine was brilliant. They said that they had done 'a few' of them. Apparently this gearbox issue not just limited to the Speed Triple, butTigers have been affected too. Anyway mine is ok now. I hope to get some use out of it. I was only able to ride it about 300 miles last year because of the gearbox problems and other faults. It still has just only 1,650 miles on the clock. Waiting for warmer and drier weather. Anyway shall be following your Multistrada updates. A very interesting bike. ATB.

@@alexmorgan3435 I feel very lucky! In that. Don't remember ever buying a bike that brought me as many problems as the RS has brought you Alex. That's not to say that the Multistrada didn't have a couple of issues, but Laguna have been pretty good with me so far. Even promising to send out around £1000 worth of parts 6 weeks after I had it delivered! I'm kind of fingers crossed they do that now lol. But it will all be covered in future videos, so stay tuned. And ride safe ( eventually) 😁

Special bit of kit that buddy, be careful riding above legal speeds with the panniers on I've read horror stories of the front end wobbling like crazy due to the aerodynamics. Lovely bike though, you gonna end up keeping this one? 😅
