Hi Daniel, I have a 2007 K1200r I also noticed that the Cam chain tensioner upgrade hasn't been done either. It does fix the rattle at cold start up as the original one is not very good due to not holding any oil in the piston. Recommended upgrade is an easy change yourself just the two bolts. I like that underside pan. Safe riding and keep the rubber side down :)

I've had my K12R for 4 years now. Absolutely love it.

How’s the reliability? I just bought one
@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes3 жыл бұрын
@@josephkaisner4581 Well most BMW's are quite relaible, however.... there are a LOT of "common probems" especially with the ABS and fuel sender, (plus many more) so ask questions, and get a good service history!

Hi Daniel, I have owned a 2007 K1200R Sport for 3 years. I paid $4,500 for it and it had 25,000 miles on it. I have 36,000 miles on it now. It has needed zero repairs runs like a rocket! Love it!
@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes3 жыл бұрын
I guess it's been well maintained? the K1200 R/S series bikes are well known to suffer from many issues, inc ABS failures, fuel gauge issues, rear hub issues, etc etc, But for every 1000 bikes I guess they must make a good One 😆

I can buy one of these with 20k miles on a 2005 plate ,18 year old bike for £2400 in great condition and only £200 to insure. Reading the reviews has put me with the issues and expense i might get with it. Best if i stay away. Im still tempted to buy because its a Beast that i cant help but look at and admire.👀👏

I have considered another one over the Years (bearing in mind this video is some 7 Years old now and prices have dropped a lot) possibly even the K1200s as that looks nice, but yes lots of "common problems" the K1300R or S is so they say.... a much better bike.

Very nice machines, but lots of "known issues" not sure I would buy another One, maybe the 1300 next time 🙃

I STILL think these are quite awesome bikes, even 5 Years later, I would really love to try the 1300 model, either the K1300s or the K1300r (although the K1300r is hard to find) but I hear they are a much better bike than the 1200. Thanks for your comment :)

What links do you need exactly?
@boxofmoles40575 жыл бұрын
Budget Bucket List Cars And Bikes Carbon fiber petrol mod and the handlebar carbon fiber. If you still know those links, if not Ill keep searching. I have a '06 I recently added to my corral. It belonged to a Dutchman living in Atlanta. Kept it in the basement. Had just turned 5,000 miles.

@@boxofmoles4057 Wow that's amazing low Miles on your 06!, as for the links, to be honest it all came from eBay in the UK, and as it's been over 4 Years I can no longer see what I purchased back then sorry, but a quick search on either eBay.com or eBay.co.uk should bring some results for you I hope :)

+David Raglin Yeah its a great bike, maybe One of the best I have ever owned :) I took out the S1000R for a test ride and it wasn't a patch on this IMO But I did end up selling this bike haha I am now looking at a K1300R (just need to save a bit more cash)

Nice. I ride a K1200r and I love it but I wish I could get a K13... They don't sell them here in the states. Anyway ride safely and good luck finding a K1300r! :-)

A huge amount of power at 168bhp.... on a budget too, under £3000 will get you a decent One now (if you can afford to maintain it lol)
