The sightglass may just be indicating that the bike needs a good long run on the open road to get the oil up to full temperature for a sustained period of time.

Wasn't broken down, she decided she was in the wrong lane, and then decided to reverse out of that lane, so she could go Left instead! both at fault really, she shouldn't be reversing in a dual carraigeway filter lane, and I should have anticipated she was confused perhaps 😉

I have a 2016 Multistrada 1200S and absolutely love it! One thing I notice on your dash that is different to mine is you appear to have some sort of graph or readout of something just to the right of the odometer and immediately above the small helmet icon (which indicates the suspension is set for rider only). Can you please tell me what that readout is for?

Hi Donny If it's the Red bit above the helmet icon you're reffering to, thats the service warning, it indicated that the belt change was overdue by time, the larger Red waring said SERVICE, and the slightly smaller Red warning is meant to look like a CALENDAR. Hope that helps 😉

Be careful with GT, bought a Ducati from there that they claimed they had done the belts and they didn't and had to fork out for it. The Ducati part in there is very hit or miss, I know of 5 bikes bought from there that have gone bang with in a matter of weeks or months and they just left them out in the rain with all the electrics exposed😂 dodgey dealership

Hello mate, sorry, your fault, 100%. Anyone with a degree of situational awareness could see she was stopped way before you turned into the space occupied by her car. In my game, you look for a position of safety before making a move. You didn't, you assumed.....

Although I will take some responsibility, the fact is.... She drove into the lane leading onto the dual carriageway, then decided to reverse out of that lane (illegally) and almost reversed into me, I wonder if she would have even noticed a lorry behind her! But yes...... I should have anticipated that it could be an issue. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but in the moment you do that you think is best, that is sometimes the wrong decision. I do as I said, take some responsibility, but I do also feel she made a dangerous and illegal move reversing out of a dual carriageway filter Lane?
