Hello Dr Suman Do you think it is really difficult to clear PACES for someone working in hospital as SMO in general medicine with 2 years experience? What should be the real expectation of clearing PACES in the above mentioned scenario if I can prepare well with videos and offline classes? Kindly reply!!

I did my MRCP right after my MBBS. I believe it was a great decision, not to waste my time with indian PG system. However, I strongly agree with him that its tough and expensive and you ll need training for it...but if you do it, it will be awesome 😁👍

After I finish my fy2, I’m planning on writing mrcp part 1 , so will that boost my cv in entering the core training for internal medicine over my fellow competitors sir or shud I still be looking at doing clinical audits and etc to improve my cv…?

The difficulty with not doing internships is that they need to enter the Foundation programme (FY1+2). This is quite competitive and unpredictable.

Uk and CST is the best option for surgery. Doing MS means you will never be able to train in the UK in future.
