Just listened to this for the fourth time. I think it has to be my favourite of your narrations. The story is so well written. I suppose it helps that I’m into languages. I very much like the way that the biblical story of the Tower of Babel is in this curious underworld. I like the idea of a language with two different meanings; we often bemoan the language barrier, but even when we do speak the same language we often don’t seem to understand each other.
