Just listened to this for the fourth time. I think it has to be my favourite of your narrations. The story is so well written. I suppose it helps that I’m into languages. I very much like the way that the biblical story of the Tower of Babel is in this curious underworld. I like the idea of a language with two different meanings; we often bemoan the language barrier, but even when we do speak the same language we often don’t seem to understand each other. I walk this road many days myself. The struggle is hard, but worth it. That’s not always easy to believe, but keep telling yourself until you do. I know how the suicides of several friends have affected me...sometimes that’s the only thing that keeps me from finishing the job...knowing how it would hurt those I love. For me, it’s almost impossible to live for myself, but honestly, whatever can get you through another day is what you have to do. I know the darkness. I know what it’s like to be afraid of my own mind. Please don’t let anyone tell you it’s the coward’s way out. They mean well, but luckily don’t know the struggle. I hate to hear about another person with this infliction. It sucks beyond recognition. Please try to force yourself to do one thing everyday to fight off the darkness. Mr Creeps helps me too, tbh. Sometimes a distraction from the torture of your own mind is the best medicine. Peace ✌🏼 & love your way.

31:30 actually people who survive drowning cite it as an extremely painful experience, more so than other means of death, as the sensation of your lungs being filled with water feels like intense burning and you struggle to breathe as your throat closes up, not allowing you to cough up the water, in order to keep more water from entering. The euphoria would likely be because of lack of oxygen to the brain, also experienced with heart attacks. I experience euphoria after migraines and when about to pass out from my medical disorder and yet I still somehow hate both.

What ancient story
@lynnmarieadams16784 жыл бұрын
John Reed, I was making a general, all inclusive, remark. There are numerous “tales” from cultures all over the world that attempt to explain the reason why so many different languages exist. This CreepyPasta, in particular, is an interpretation of the Tower of Babel story shared by the Judeo-Christian & Islamic religions.

@@lynnmarieadams1678 To me it seems like Lovecraft meets the Tower of Babel. Really odd mixture but it came out really well.

2sentencehorror I died peacefully in my sleep The passengers in my plane didnt My son looked at me from his comfy bed I guess one bullet wasn't enough "Why are you doing this" I said as the knife was raised above my wife The voices in my head didnt answer I was looking at the broken tornado siren today It walks funny "Don't worry I'll find the bad smell in your floor" I crawled in and heard the sound of the floorboards being nailed into place I saw the police drag bodys out of the lake I thought I hide them well enough. the drug dog approached my locker I reassured myself that it cant smell body parts The police told me they found my son I thought I hid the body well enough
