Something definitely didn't go horribly wrong if they're trying to tell you something bad happened to them while they were in tears. This story reminds me of the time I told my parents about the teacher that said if we asked ANY QUESTIONS he would yell at us. This was and is to this day, completely true. My parents told me I was lying to my face. They said no teacher would ever say that. Then they wondered why I did so poorly in that particular class.

Of course this is a fictional story about demons/monsters. But what I disliked was how the adults disregarded and disbelieved children reporting abuse. Maybe we do not have supernatural monsters out there preying on children----but there are lots of very real, flesh and blood predators out there. This is a very real and terrible issue. It is hard enough for a child, who is being abused, to speak up at all. Can you imagine how it would affect you, if you appealed to the people you trusted most for help----and those people did not believe you? It would be devastating for an adult, but so, so much worse for a child. What people need to keep in mind is that this is exactly what abusers, both physical and sexual abusers, depend on. Especially with children. Children who are not believed by their parents will usually never tell anyone else. If a child, any child, comes to you with a problem----stop what you are doing and listen! Listen seriously and ask questions. Use your common sense and investigate. And most importantly, make sure the child knows that you believe him. Explain it to the child that it is like with cops: a crime is reported, but now we need evidence and have to investigate. Don't start a witch-hunt but there are a million different ways to investigate today. But take it seriously. A child never gets over physical or sexual abuse, very often it destroys their lives as adults.

Commenting on this one as it is the most recent… can anyone tell me the names of a couple Creepypastas I have mostly forgotten? Spoilers below where I mention the fragmented bit and pieces I still recall… This one below may be “The Black Pill” but I’ll listen to it again and update either way… been about 6 years so it’s hard to say for sure atm An alien invasion or something similar wherein near the end people unknowingly walk to the doom brought-on like an alien siren call meanwhile the mc is pushed evermore closer and closer to their doom as well… Something about a kid or kids (possibly adults but either way likely at least 3 or many, many more) having been killed and the evil doer takes over or kills and replaces people (possibly a clown, demon, evil woman or some other type of evil being) and when mc is talking with who they (he?) believes is a friend or mother(?) of a child they slip up (may have been on purpose…) and say something telling, to the effect of they had actually killed the very kid mc was discussing and mc as well as the listeners/readers know all too well mc is talking with the evil and if memory serves the evil didn’t realize their own freudian slip… my memory is extremely hazy on this one :/ there may even be an elevator to hell in this one but I could just as likely (if not more so) be confusing it with yet another Creepypasta, my bad 🤷 Not super likely anyone will see this nor have listened to the two I am referring to nor actually remember them and be able to piece it all together but here’s hoping eh. Trying to go through years worth of MCP videos to hopefully find if YT still tracks “watched” videos and sift through the mass amount of ones I’ve watched will likely be a huge endeavour but I suppose I’ll have to find out one way or another.

“The Black Pill” was indeed correct… and happens to be exactly how I feel having paid little attention to what used to be annoyances of society that has now become such a destructive force as to cause society to come collapsing down upon us… moving on Another is… Spoiler below MC (male/son?) is stuck going back and forth between abusive mom and seeing their sister and dad who beg mc not to go back because they won’t like it or may not cone back only for mc to realize the dreaded truth… their mother (can’t remember exactly but…) likely killed the sis/dad and may have hit mc in the head definitely tried to kill mc and mc realizes when tearing down pieces of a wall or pulling wallpaper back to reveal a message only to understand what his sister meant… they were dead and mc is stuck in the real world with all that happened and won’t see them (likely till mc dies, that is, if it wasn’t all a hallucination from nearly being killed by the mom/step mom(?) Another is… Something about mc meeting this marionette-like girl attached to strings mc doesn’t seem to like it (who would) only for mc to realize they too were attached to strings… Are there any about an Caucasian/Asian girl/woman possibly name (H)Anna (it was hard to tell as she seemed to mumble but was likely because of a creepy human face-like mask with no expression who made a craft, card or drawing and liked mc? Presumably takes place at her house starting on the bed or maybe the floor while she worked away at some craft, card, or colouring as she talked/acted childlike before things mc saw the mask and things started to turn dark fast, from a sewing needle or black handled sheering scissors to her obvious “liking” of mc to her or possibly her flesh-like face mask which had no mouth or did but was sewn shut and long black hair covering the sides of the mask as well as her(?) ears to having a show she watched asking mc to stay and watch with her saying, “come watch the show with me”… the craft thing was presented to mc (likely something dark and not childlike at all) and made a comment about her family not being around (presumably they were dead) as mc gets creeped out more and more realizing something was right with the situation as she(?) clues in and becomes concerned about mc leaving and her mere evil aura or dark presence is enough to corner mc alone… internally panicking mc tries to leave but before they can the masked thing already knows mc’s intentions and is having none of it. The next thing I remember is something about a creepy blackened decrepit door (like an old black paint worn down, possibly scratched or dug into randomly from top to bottom, if that makes sense like wild escape attempt(s) were made) the door actually brings tears to my eyes just picturing it… to describe it I’d say the feeling is a cross between “despair all who enter here” and that cold, creepy feeling one gets when talking with a serial killer, that uneasy, something is off kind of feeling just before it’s too late… This very well may have been all but a dream, which would explain why I remember it so vividly and why it absolutely terrifies me to this day as through who or whatever it is waits just beyond the shadows watching, just waiting for me to watch whatever twisted “show” they had to and whatever laid beyond the vile black door likely where the show was and where they were hoping to attack from but thankfully I hope to never know… if it was all a nightmare this is exactly why I no longer drink tea before bed as I have more of what I remember written down but as this is YT some has been left such as the masked ones peculiar use of the sewing needle

Kind of a kid story but I had it on while I was working. By the time I had the chance to change it, I'd already invested 40 minutes in it and decided to go with it. Good story for kids for sure. It would be a cool movie for them at Halloween. That is without some of the language! You did a great job of narrating.

she gets her power from a child’s imagination but the child’s imagination is also her weakness so if the child believes ms blackmoore doesn’t exist (and write it on paper ig) then she will not exist

That makes sense & I loved this story but I feel like there was no explanation as to that working & then the tree was suddenly really a dragon. It would have made more sense if there was a part where the kids talked to an old lady that explained that to them, or if Marianna explained at the end how she is from a family of witches, idk. I know it was touched on but it was a bit of a jump for me. Loved it still!
