Cycling around the Trough of Bowland in Lancashire. This is a great place to ride your bike and is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Today we visited a new cafe which was the Farm Shop in Chipping.
Filmed in the great county of Lancashire in the North West of England

Thos area of the world is great for cycling, loads of steep side road that go on forever . Also love the cowboy hybrid/ MTb setup . It's so refreshing seeing a fun setup like that as I feel cycling can be so snobby

Haven't been to the north of England in about 10 years, next time I'm taking my bike! If you're taking requests, would love to see a ride in the hills around Skipton. Happy New Year!

All the best Stephen and thanks for popping by on this one to comment. They used to mine around here for lead and then as you may well know, the areas on the other side of Clitheroe, near Burnley were mainly coal mines. They still have a limestone quarry for the cement works in in the Clitheroe too.

Yes that's right Roy, I just use it as general description for the area. I should say Forest of Bowland too but there isn't a forest. Likewise in Rossendale. Nevertheless, it's just a fab place to ride your bike. What's your favourite part ? My next video takes me our over the back of Bleasedale towards Dolphinholme and then back onto the Trough road near Marshaw

Daz, youve probably been there but there's a cracking little road just after you've done the Grindleton fell climb and you reach the cross roads on Newton Fell (hallgate hill decent in your video 6:40), instead of turning right down to Newton or left back to Waddy go straight across on the road over to Cow Ark, dead quiet road but really interesting and a great climb/descent on the other side.

Hi Mike and Darren Yet another brilliant video which encourages and inspires to get out no matter what. I always look forward to the “Notification” binging and see that Mr.DazP1 has added another ride. So great to see Mike being more involved. If a may just be a little critical of your last couple of videos Daz, and it really is splitting hairs. I’m not a stick in the mud by any means but in this vid the mention of “Hard on” and “shit” in one of your recent videos I felt would have been perhaps better “bleeped” out simply because you never know what age range may be watching your videos and I know kids are kids these days but I felt it would have kept yourself and Mike squeaky clean with regards to language and both of you coming across as “family friendly”, if that makes sense, plus if you may be looking for sponsors I don’t think they would want their products associated with videos containing language. You know my story Daz, recovering from a heart attack at 57 and believe me, and I’m sure many of your subscribers would agree, we wouldn’t miss your vids for anything. Both you and Mike have encouraged me out on the bike again when my self confidence was smashed to bits and never thought I would ride again after the attack. I personally want you to both make loads more, and often you both will never know just how much your videos have encouraged. So please please mike and Daz don’t see this as a negative but an observation as both of you are great blokes and continue to produce outstanding videos built on quality, good friendship and a love of the countryside. So thank you mike and Daz for all you do, and wish that whatever next year brings it will involve showing us all that you can do it no matter what your ability. Happy new year Mike and Daz, true superstars. Steve

Hello Steve and thank you for the comments. The ending did me make me chuckle which is why I kept it in but I think you are quite right to highlight this and the other recent risque' inclusions to my recent videos. I'm not sure if you are familiar with the KZbin upload process but when I upload a video I have to declare if it is fit for for children and I always tick the box "No it's not made for kids". As a rule though, I either edit inappropriate comments out or use the bleep machine and on this occasion I did not do this. I think that you have raised a fair point as some of the content in this video could upset the viewers. I would however like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family all the very best for the New year and I hope that you continue to keep on getting out when ever possible on your bike and that you keep us informed of your progress on the road back to recovery. All the best Darren

@@MrDazP1adv3ntures Hi Daz, Thank you for your reply and I do know that in so many of your vids you do bleep out risqué stuff, which I think separates your videos and rides from all the others. Having said that, I have to admit it was so funny and I couldn’t help but laugh hearing mike in the edit at the end, simply because Mike is usually so dry. 😂 I’m confident your videos will go from strength to strength and I hope yourself and Mike make many more as I think you’ve both got a great friendship. Have a lovely new year mike and Darren and thanks again for being great blokes making great videos. Happy new year. Steve
