A professor of mine suggested that taking physical notes (writing) helps the brain recall information, as it spent more time and effort in the process of writing the key points down. I think it helps me.

I found this video deeply inspirational! I log on my coursera account and realized I had completed that course about 2 years ago. I've totally forgotten about it though, so I decided to give it another shot. The "no need of genius envy" is something I really have myself, I'm frequently comparing to others for their accomplishments and usually minimizing my own. I hope to be a more positive person with hard work!

You and me both Leonardo. One thing I’ve been thinking about lately is that it’s easy to focus on the bad and forget the good. All the best brother.

I think my superpower is, like if I want to learn anything, I learn anyhow, no matter howsoever hard it is, event its some boring topic or subject, but I just need that hunger to learn. I really liked that thing you said that no one becomes successful overnight but every small steps count.

Daniel, I had some questions. How were you able to complete the course in one day, are you superhuman? Also, if one has a very busy schedule, what exercises do you recommend him to stay fit?
@mrdbourke
@mrdbourke 5 жыл бұрын
I used a 1-hour pomodoro timer for each section and watched the videos on double speed. It took me about 4-5 hours of focused work. If you’re busy, take something out of your schedule and dedicate that time to health. Health should be a number 1 priority. If you can’t, be prepared (with food), move every day (at least 30-mins of walking/some other exercise) and get proper quality & quantity of sleep (7-9 hours, avoid lights at night and no caffeine after 2pm). More in my 6 health habits video :)

@mrdbourke

I study when I can. I don’t watch TV or use social media so this frees up time. During the work day, my job requires me to use things I don’t necessarily know how to use, so I’m lucky to be able to spend time studying while I’m working.
