I miss flying into SLK to visit my parents. Not so sure I’d want to fly piston aircraft but so far the Tecnam appear to be pretty reliable.

Actually, Delta uses it alot with their A220's and RJ's as it saves them fuel and taxi time to the gates.

When I flew into KSLK from KBOS, it was considered part of the Essential Air Service program. (I got permission to sit in the right seat.)

Excellent video. definitely encourage you to choose do a flight from White Plains New York to Lebanon, New Hampshire Lebanon to Boston. Cape air does a great job connecting rural communities to larger cities.

Bonsoir Marc' Très joli parcours que j'ai revu avec plaisir. Je pense qu'il y a eu un problème de connexion internet a Bxl. Il y a deux semaines j'avais reçu votre video au départ de Boston vers le lac Saranac et j'avais repondu a propos de la soc. italienne Tecnam de Naples, du vol à vue permettant des visions panoramiques détaillées et de la "pilotina" (pilote féminine) très qualifiée. Ma réponse s'est sans doute égarée.(?)...Dommage... Merci à nouveau pour ce reportage et pour vos choix toujours intéressants et variés que j'apprécie énormément. I've done that flight a few times and I don't know how you could resist the co-pilots seat! I will say to watch out for security at SLK. I haven't flown through their in like 10 years but the last time I did, they basically hand searched everyone's bags as well as strip searched one passenger! After all, there were three of them and like eight of us so they had all the time in the world!

@@videogameplayer0552 Well they kept at this one poor guy until they dragged him behind a sheet into a private area and we didn't see him again for like 20 minutes. Good news about SLK, the plane won't leave without you. The bad news; they have tons of time for every search possible and the "supervisor" is in Burlington so nothing gets resolved quickly! at least not that day.

Cool video, been to Saranac Lake a few times never flown out. Nice new plane, know what that small airport is at 12:42 ? I noticed your lady pilot wears glasses; I remember when the airlines did not allow that. Good comfortable flight, smooth landing. Am I allowed to say cute pilot ??

I dont know why they dont have a second pilot, seems like a missed opertunity for a new be pilot to get stick time plus added safety. Doesnt look to profitable this day. How are they making money with this flight.

Single pilot is common on such small aircrafts. Otherwise these airlines would make even less profit. SPO is in fact the future of aviation and will be more and more common in the comming years.

For me personally, I would strongly recommend you to fly with these carriers. As you haven't flown Hawaiian Airlines and Cebu Pacific before, I'd suggest giving those carriers a try. Also, Korean Air has introduced a new aircraft type to its fleet, which is the Airbus A321neo, while Emirates also introduced a new aircraft type to its fleet, the A350-900. Despite you having already flown the Boeing 787-10 on Korean Air on a flight from Denpasar to Seoul, I'd suggest flying on it again, this time on a flight to Honolulu to Seoul. I suggest giving those aircraft types from the respective carriers a try, as you are going to like the experience with those carriers.
