I have been following Jerry Lawson for years when he was with the Persuasions. Looking for my man in clubs and he's on t.v. lol. Best lead I ever saw live, Persuasions best group live, but I like the group he is with now too. Bless Jerry he deserves the recognition.

I love On The Rocks. But when i hard this song , I was crying, too. First time, twice, 3rd....I was crying. It has something to move(shake?) someone's mind. I am Japanese, female, thirties, and I do not understand English well. All their song are NOT powerful, NOT funny, NOT new style, NOT especially performance. BUT they shaked my mind. Your parents either aren't black or aren't old. Their singing is a so tight, most acapella groups can't be that good with so few people (as indicated by the elimination of Street Corner Renaissance in Season 4). If you've ever heard the temptations, the drifters, Smokey Robinson, or even Otis Redding, you'll appreciate their style of singing.
