The original song is pretty amazing in it's own way, but I'll never forget my reaction to this cover the first time I heard it 3 years ago in my college apartment. I spent the entire 4 day weekend doing literally nothing but listening and trying to cover Mree's songs. If that's not true inspiration I don't know what is.

But now, when I hear the original I dislike the singers vocal style and generally find it too fey and underwhelming. Please don't ever stop singing. This song sparks a memory of my late aunt. I can't ever remember her face more than anything but a blur because of how drastically her appearance from her cancer changed. But when I hear you sing this, I can see it crystal clear.
