Buy a proper 10 amp lab bench power supply instead of these ones you have now and the super cap should be charged with only 2.7 volts and not 4 volts it might kill the super capacitor. I will support you. Thanks for your videos.

A fully charged cap you will get a shock from doesn't matter the voltage it's the uf of the cap and they don't hold that long of a charge. Once you apply a load the power stored is gone instantly. It will not keep running like a battery. I majored in electronics so this information you are trying to give is incorrect.

I'm going to start out with question. where do you suppose the power comes from? The answer is most places in the US are still getting their power from coal and natural gas plants. That would actually cause more pollutants than just using a standard gasoline vehicle or a high-efficiency diesel. But for those of us lucky enough to be around a nuclear solar or wind plant or maybe even a bio plant then yes. this is a very feasible and cheap means of transportation And for those of you saying nuclear is not the answer what's better burning 2647 tons of coal ( this is a Coal Power Plant running Full Tilt for a year) assuming that most people would switch over to electric vehicles and would put more of a power strain on the plant or using approximately 27 tons of uranium for a reactor. I hope we start seeing some more clean energy power plants in the future!

@@Teararec The main difference is, that the powerplant is on the country side, wherein the cars are polluting the air in the middle of the cities where the people living and breathing. Any powerplant powered by oil, gas or carbon is way more efficient than any small internal combustion engine inside the cars. In Germany we have already 50% renewable energy. Means 50% less pollution driving an electric car

@@eDriver you do understand that the power plants only make out about 33% to 45% of the energy that is used compared to some of the efficient Small Engine Vehicles which make out about 35% to 50%^. And if you really want to get into high efficiency you should look at low RPM large diesels for example (ships engines) those can be 50%^. not only that you also have to think of line transmission loss because we're not using superconductors. there's a lot of other things that can equate into it as well, what is the current load on the power plant, how long the transmission line needs to go, what voltage or kv is it running at, is there any form of Transformer that intersects the transmission line before you and ECT. So even though if you're running Electric your efficiency rating will always be lower then the power plant by a pretty significant portion.

you don't have a clue, you are running motors with no load! A motor rated at 20 Amps with no load will probably only pull 1 Amp.

Hi.. please help me with this. I have a car amplifier 4 Chanel (sony). I built a boom box only for bass, I ordered a SMPS which says 12v 30amp, to run the amplifier. But the prob. is when i open the bass full capacity the amplifier stop working, when i measured the voltage it drops when the bass is high. It drops 14.7v to 9v. When the bass is high. If i low the bass it working fine. Please please please provide me the solution. Provide me the power supply options to run that amplifier. Please.

You say at 5 caps in series you can run the 12volt 100amps at full load let us see that. In series you can get the 12volts but you don't gain any capacity so you would need 5banks of 5caps in series to do what you say. Also 6 strip parallel of 6caps in series (16+volt) to charge with standard lead acid charger 14-15volts charger could even use jump/starter mode 60-100amps. Much better caps available for this kind of work with stronger leads allowing use of buss bars not tiny wires and soldering which you need more practice at.

No one mentioned, so i will. If u double the Volts u quadriple the power. R=U/I this means, in the same appliance, if u double the volts, u will double also the ampers. then u will consume 4 times more power. But, when u use this to 250W/24V lamp, it takes ~10A on 24V , if u halve 5A 12V 60W half again, 2.5A* 6V=15W, half again 1.25A 3V 4.5 W, half again 0.625A 1.5V ~1W how much power from a 60gr capacitor ! it can also be done with a cr2030 cell that maybe around 1gr... but when u shorted it out u pulled like 200A, that was impressive, becouse u not lost ur all capacity in a small burst.

if u want to impress people with the true power of a power capacitor, u need to build a heavy duty joule thief. That can leech around 50-200A at 2.5V (for atleast a few seconds) then u can power up fully a starter motor or anything for a really short time period

im so lost.. im trying to study all this by myself without the help of like teachers or classes etc.. But with every piece if informationm i learn i have more questions than answers.. why is it that i have teenie tiny little capacitors that are 470uf 35v, 470uf 25v, 1000uf 10v, 1000uf 16v, 1000uf 25v, etc, and that enormous capacitor has less Volts and but more farads.. I'm so lost.. I started this journey of information because im trying to figure out why none of the capacitors i have work when im trying to run a stepping motor like a regular motor.. the only thing i can think of is that the farad count or voltages are not right.. Ive used ac and dc power.. ive tried all combinations of how to hook up the 4 posts from the 2 coils.. ive tried the capacitors backwards and forwards, etc.. i have no idea why its not working. But now ive been up for the past like 9 hours researcghing and all im doing is coming up with more things to answer. lol. but anyway.... great video... Im subscribing.

actually you are talking about micro farad capacitors, and in this video he uses 500 Farad capacitor not 500 uf which is 500 micro farad. Hope that now you can understand why this capacitor is huge.
