MTN HyNetFlex: Wifi Band: How to Increase Internet Speed.

Changing from 2.4ghz frequency band to 5.0ghz frequency band can increase Internet speed. MTN Router has two bands - 2.4ghz and 5.0ghz .

This router is better than what we used to have in terms of speed. But one problem it still has as of today is its powerbank running out earlier than expected. Though I have to go the extra step to construct a customized 12-volts output powerbank that can last up to 7 hours. That's the only way, I'm currently enjoying it. Now I'm sure of at least 11 hours which I get from both followed-come powerbank and my customized powerbank.

Your system should see both 5.0ghz And 2.4ghz. Then you can make a choice. But some older Laptop model do not see the 5.0ghz

Login in to the admin section by typing 192.168.0.1 on your browser. Then login using admin as password. Go to the wifi section and change the password..
