Model MF286C can also broadcast 5.0ghz, all you need to do is scroll down on Main(SSID) 5GHZ, go to Frequency(channel) and increase it to Channel 52 upward maybe 56,60... and apply It will work.

Don't know what's wrong but the suggestion did not work for me, changed to channel 53, 64 and infact highest band Could it be that my laptop or phone does not support it?

Hello sir, what or how many distance can the MTN 5G Router and Hynetflex cover? I mean how far can i keep it away from me and still browse effectively?

I will not like to give you a figure because a lot of factors affect the distance covered by the Router signal. Someone in an open field devoid of blockages can cover longer distance.. I suggest you keep moving away from the Router position while you monitor the signal strength..

Hi Tengen, there are other factors that affect internet speed. They include your location , number of devices sharing the Internet, some update/backup programs/App running at the background Please ensure these things have been taken care of .
