I would love to do something like this with my students! Do you have an example of the 'strict instructions' or criteria you gave to the students for this to work effectively? I've never looked at anything like this before!

Hi, this was a while ago now, sorry. I made sure my class had designed their building in their books first (standard labelling exercise really) and had gathered images of three real world places of worship for inspiration... other than that, the design process in Minecraft itself was quite fluid... if they wanted to alter or amend anything they could... and I found that by me sitting back and not interfering they came up with some really interesting discussions e.g. whether or not their denomination had confessionals. As for the rules of behaviour within Minecraft... same as my classroom... if anyone interfered with anyone else's work then they would be removed from the activity (same for any student who wasn't on task... within reason and with fair warning of course) Sorry there's nothing more specific
