Tippin' honor to the pure beginnings of funk/soul. Your sounds bring back great fragmented memories for my ears. 1977-79, played Frisbee every day after school (Bay Area-70s) w/my best friend Bruce. we were good. Spent the last couple of weeks listening to all Flamingosis' albums, and then some... 'Great Hair' is my favorite, as an album so far - but many great mixes/tunes. Cookie jar is open.
