Movie Summary:
When the dolphin mascot of Miami's NFL team is abducted, Ace Ventura (Jim Carrey), a zany private investigator who specializes in finding missing animals, looks into the case. Soon Miami Dolphins players are kidnapped too, including star player Dan Marino (Dan Marino), making Ace's sleuth work even more pressing. Working with Dolphins representative Melissa Robinson (Courteney Cox), Ace closes in on the culprits, but not before many ridiculous misadventures.

Yep! This was his movie debut year, no more "In Living Color" after this (he does give Keenan and the other Wayans their praise for putting him on) before he was even on TV, he wrote a 20 million dollar check with the hopes and aspirations to be successful. Music Enthusiast Fact: Cannibal Corpse made their guest appearance in this movie. The song that they were playing was Hammer Smashed Face (1993), it has since become one of their most famous songs. Movie Magic Fact: The actor playing Ray Finkle in the photo of the Dolphin's group shot is actually Sean Young in a wig and fake mustache. Sean Young herself isn't a very good kicker. So Pete Stoyanovich, a placekicker for the Miami Dolphins at the time, filled in as her character in the reverse shot of her kicking the football up and out of the hole in the warehouse. According to Tom Shadyac, Stoyanovich hit the hole on pretty much every take.

The photos of Ray Finkle are Sean Young dressed up like a man. 26:37 originally they showed the goons getting decapitated but wasn’t able to get the film rating they wanted so they had to cut the scene short. 29:01 gotta remember she’s mentally unstable so her mind is breaking under the stress of losing. 29:43 it was a real prosthetic male appendage. The director had to pick out the right look he wanted for it.
