Movie Summary:
Ted's (Ben Stiller) dream prom date with Mary (Cameron Diaz) never happens due to an embarrassing injury at her home. Years later, Ted hires Pat Healy (Matt Dillon) to track down Mary so he can reconnect with her. Pat lies to Ted about Mary and he finds out everything he can about her to trick her into dating him. Ted travels to meet Mary and has to weave through the web of lies that Pat and Mary's friend Tucker (Lee Evans) have woven to try and win her over.

I think that's what makes it so great. Woogie's wife took care of kids, gave him cigars, made cookies and blew him while he watched cops. Pat just like Ted had a very stable job with the comfortability and freedom to go anywhere and do anything they want but completely left it. There was a bunch of girls pining and talking to Tucker while he was very successfully pretending to be an architect himself when first introduced. And obviously Brett favre himself could have had any girl he wanted because he's a famous football player. All these guys could have had a happy life but they gave it all up just because There's Something About Mary

"We got a bleeder!" Fun Fact: Cameron Diaz admitted to Jay Leno to being the dead body inside the bag carried by the hitchhiker. Father's Cameo Fact: Cameron Diaz's father was on set during filming, so the Farrellys decided to throw him in the movie. In the scene where Ben Stiller is released from prison after being wrongfully accused of murder, Cameron's dad is the inmate in the front with a beard and long hair jeering at Ben. Lost In Translation Fact: Lee Evans's English accent in the movie was characterized by a film critic as "quite possibly the worst fake British accent in a movie" he had ever heard. Lee Evans is in fact English. However the accent he used in this film was exaggerated for the role.

One of the best comedies out there, prime Cameron Diaz was WOW!!! I will say this, this appears to be the extended version and I usually prefer those, but I can tell the original version had much better flow.

Richman is a legend. His original band The Modern Lovers was a huge influence on early punk, then he did a 180 and changed his sound to a soft acoustic thing.
