this is probably a bold statement (also personal opinion), but this WYWS pack is probably the best collab from Nike and AJ since the Off White "The Ten." To me, this isn't about the colorway, it's the materials used, there placement and just the neutral and complimentary colors to go with them that makes this pack so fire. these are probably my shoe of the year tbh.

These are beautiful! I landed the 3s for wifey and they are just...wow as well. Packaging, the cloth. Materials. AMA always does a great job at creating a vibe. They have an aesthetic that you can recognize immediately like the quilted interior. My wife has the original 4s and I have the 5s that released last year. They know what they're doing. Elegant and upscale. You guys are dope. Thank you for all you do for the culture

Agreed. However IMO if they did, they would lose a bit of the mature vibe A Ma tends to create. The AJ4 silhouette has a grade school aesthetic (netting, crowns…cheap plastic) no matter the color way. Just add black laces to break-up the monochromatic look.

@@chaos3939elite take, I totally agree with you. A Ma Maniere likes to take classic models and give them an elevated more classy look. Too much contrast would take from that, it’d bring the elevated classy look back to sporty and athletic like most pairs. Black laces is definitely the move if you want to change up the look.

I love all the A Ma collaborations. Unpopular opinion: I don’t love 4’s, but these ones convinced me to get a pair. I have enough bright colors in my Js, got all my sports teams covered and whatnot. I need more of these subtle colorways and get my hands on as many A Ma pairs as I can afford. My most-worn pair before the newest 3s was the PSG 5 lows, similar color to these 4s.

I had hit on these for retail. But I had to get rid of em. Pics and videos made me want them, and even now makes me want to get em back. But it’s the lavender hue of the shoe that messed it up for me. I thought it was a light grey 4 but it’s really a soft purple. The 3s are much better

AMM always provides us with small touches that make the consumer feel a return on investment. As for the colorway, I love how they stay in their lane for some added distinction from other Jordan/Nike colorways. These 4s are a cop for me and those 95s are a must as well.

I love them - and think they’re going to be more wearable than their original 4’s. I now have to see what I can dig up on the 95’s though - because those are SWEET! I wonder if the fabric wrapping is going to become more of a thing with their collabs - the Opium x Air Ship had a gorgeous cloth in their box, too. I wish it were a little longer though, so it could be used a scarf. :-)
