I think Francis's idea of "casual" is "I'm not gonna bother with optimal play and just do whatever tickles my fancy." Like cramming a nuclear reactor into a rocket isn't exactly optimal play. It's expensive, it's overly complicated, it carries a lot of unnecessary risks, it's not what you'll do if you're concerned with optimal, hard-core play. In that sense, what Francis is doing is casual. Just a very advanced level of casual play.

@DarthVella Жыл бұрын
Having lots of dupes would definitely help, but there's more than that. There's a lot of base design/game method tweaks that make narcoleptic dupes more tolerable - opening a floor in the sauna for the dupes carrying debris so they don't have an 1800+C nap in the middle of your liquid locks is certainly one. If Murphy's Law is "anything that can go wrong, will go wrong", then Francis's Corollary is "anything that cannot go wrong, will not go wrong."

Yeah, a couple of episodes back FJ "reacted" to these types of comments by not editing out all of the dupes aggravating behaviour.
