Hey Freeze! Excellent video. I agree the time constraint on level 3 was a real pain in the @$$. I spent hours working on a strategy, as I ended up starting disguised in the grey worker uniform (good or smuggling, as it is a few feet from that spot, right next to a propane tank)

problem with bringing a breach charge like you mentioned is that people will see you place it and youll get compromised

I did it as a waiter at the same time I placed the tank.. They do start spotting you, but you have enough time to place it before getting spotted.

For 3rd escalation only thing I did differently is, before taking out the first target, throw a coin and take out one of the masked people, then drop the pistol to get the guards outfit, then use a coin to distract the last masked person before going up behind the guard at the door and taking him out - everyone is piled in that outdoor bit but you’re not worried about timings etc

As always back in the days when i watched this the first time: this was very helpful BUT i recommend NOT taking a kalmer just because you have to make headshots with it as it counts as a pistol ... tricky and easy avoidable by using the blue easter egg from Berlin - i used it on the 2 robed male+ female next to the chello player i had to headshot - and used the cigar box from the portculis gatehouse on the guard next to the open door upstairs - after i subdued of course the other elite guard like you did! FUN fact: the blue easter egg pacified also the first chello player target - even easier to kill him that way 🙂

Can confirm that the propane canister does do knockouts. I went overkill by tossing both canisters down, and put one canister next to each entertainer. I then blew up the cellist, and got a Body Found on the second level before the pianist got 'sploded. Will retry with the canister placed as you have, and can hopefully get SA on 2 and 3, instead of having to do it dirty like I did on my first attempt...

In H3, if you have access to it, the goldbrick proximity mine worked well for me to finish clearing out the room for the first target on level 3, since the tranquilizers are guns and require headshots.

nice video, as always. not sure about the deadly-range of propane flasks, i made a video, where i put Whittleton creek into the secret basement and blow 100+ people up. it took several explosions, before i got all killed.

One problem I had was when you do the distraction to clear the room by placing the gun when I was taking out the first guard the arc member follows the guard even after the guard stays there, I hope it’s just a glitch lol

I had to throw the propane flask at the musicans since if shooting it twice I lost the SA rating. I tried it several times. Gunshot heard, but no one comes after me, looks like no one spotted me. By using the Tranquilizer make sure to go for headshots as well! Nice gameplay!

Unless I rebound the key, I think Place is ALT on PC. Also, the propane radius isn't bigger, the Musicians just all have extremely low HP. They will die in one hit from an Apple/Muffin/Burger for example.

The first time I played this level and used the entertainer's disguise I actually thought my game was glitching and I somehow got stuck in hitman vision. I get what they were trying to do and it is cool in theory I suppose but in reality it is just annoying and bothers my eyes.

No Mr Freeze, your way is the correct way! I tried with a breaching charge and tranq gun, failed every time! You drop a breaching charge on stage and people get alarmed and you get spotted. Also, the whole only shooting NPC's in the head applies to tranq guns too! In the end it was easier to just do it the way you showed!

You can safely place a breaching charge if you use the piano as cover, but it's a pain in the ass to blow them up after. It will only kill one of them, so you need to grab both propane tanks and create a chain explosion. You can also put a breaching charge in a briefcase, but it got moved while I was doing everything else and I needed to start in the suit to get it. Also, I somehow got a body found when I tranquilized the NPC in front of the target.

@@matthewlabodin3981 Yeah, just not worth it! Freeze's method is just far easier! I also tried a micro explosive, you can plant that without raising suspicion BUT then it turned out the explosion only knocks out the musicians and doesn't detonate the propane!

You get that phone in the New York mission, but the New York mission is only available for people who have the expansion pass.

So I have a challenge for you. I tried it on the bank and it was a pain. Instead of a "Kill everyone" challenge. Do a "knockout everyone" challenge. Kill the target only, knockout everyone else, and do it silent assassin.
