Headshot damage multipliers vary greatly between cod games. High multipliers = more realistic but low multipliers = more consistent gunfights. This one is the latter.

You 100% want to play on HC. The multiplier for core is like 1.1x and it doesn't actually reduce the amount of shots to take a kill. But on HC it's a 1 or 2 hit kill.
