Every single time I play this irritating game - EVERY TIME - it only lets me guess about 3 or 4 words before it stops and then gives me a score. Nothing in the rules identifies what is causing this.

What am I doing wrong? I always solve the anagram first, then I usually spell a 9 letter word. After I spell the second word, it’s stops my playtime which doesn’t give me an opportunity to get to genius level. Can anybody offer an explanation? TIA

Don’t work on big word’s first unless it’s obvious. Go for all the easier 4 and 5 letter words first. Many times that helps me think of longer words - and over half the words in any given puzzle will be 4-5 letter words

I’m interested in how the mind works - or doesn’t - on solving the Bee. Why does one hit a limit? Why is one not be able to find more words? Why some words and not others? I have a large vocabulary, do great at Scrabble. I do the all usual the tricks of course, but still, often just get stumped. When I look at the answers I’m appalled at all the words I didn’t find. This makes my very curious about WHY this happens. Any ideas? Thoughts? Links to ideas on this?

My wife and I play SB every day, racing to get to genius before the other (without hints). What's fascinating is the different words she finds that I don't; many of them are food or cooking related and I tend to find technical or scientific terms that she doesn't. But every morning when I look at yesterday's answers I find simple words that I simply did not see. I don't mind missing words that are not in my vocabulary, but why can't I see these known words? Like you, I'm mystified at why this failure occurs.

That's why I am here! Some days it only let's me put in 4 words in 20 seconds and others I can do 10+ for a few minutes. It always kicks me out before I am even close to being done. Is it a glitch?

Why am I getting chucked out after only say 5 or 6 words ? I cannot make it past 'Nice. I can see so many more words but the game terminates on me at the low level. So frustrating! Any advice ?

I don’t understand this game - I always try to start with the pangram, and try to make larger letter-count words but then it just stops the game after I only have submitted a few words. And then I never can get close to genius because it cuts off so early. Today, I tried to do what was shown here (submitting as many small words as I first notice) but then it cut off after I had submitted only like six words. Can someone please explain to me what I’m doing wrong?:(

If i do the panagram then it stops If i do the smaller words first, after a random number of words, it stops & i don't get a chance to finish it

if you want to find out how many words you need for genius, go to more and then ranking. It will tell you where you are now in the ranking and how many words/points to genius.

Once you get the the genius level, it’s over. But you can keep playing to try to get extra words if you want.

I believe it tells you how many words start with each letter and how long those words are.

It’s not a score. It just means that all 7 letters are used at the beginning of a word

It’s called spelling bee, so it’s meant to look like a honeycomb. That’s all. you need to always use the middle letter. But that’s all.
