Why would a UGA fan care about what Bama fans do? We’re not rivals. lol. Auburn is the team from Alabama that UGA historically hates as it’s is literally the SEC’s oldest rivalry and outside of LSU/Florida we share being rivals with auburn/Tennessee. lol.

@@doc8013 no Alabama fan i know of cares whether UGA wins or loses, especially against Tenn, LSU or auburn. I think UGA fans got tired of getting beat 7 straight times or the fact they haven’t beaten Alabama in the state of Ga in 20 years, but Bama has 7 straight over Florida. Pretty sure Florida isn’t a rival which is funny cause Bama/Florida has played in the SECCG against each other a lot more than Bama/UGA/a lot more history than UGa/Bama. Just because 2 teams have been at the forefront of the SEC for a few years doesn’t make them rivals. Sorry. I’d rather lose to UGA than to any team in the West or Tenn in the East.

The Shoals is proud of the 13-0 1st quarter victory over the ⁴Florida St Seminoles. UNA used to be a D2 powerhouse back in the early 90's and even into the 2000's. Though the early part of the millennium into the 2010's was only a few playoff wins for the Lions. Still has a winning record against Troy, Alabama A&M, and Jacksonville St. Is the Alma Matter of Harlon Hill, the man who has the division 2's version of the Heisman trophy named after him. So I am 100% in favor of that banner celebrating that 1st quarter dominate win over the #4 Seminoles. This is off topic, but Florence has some history, which all of the Shoals does. So dyk that Alex Haley, the man who wrote the amazing book Roots, traced his ancestry back to the Forks of Cypress, which was a plantation home built by James Jackson, a general under Andrew Jackson's leadership (No relationship between the Jackson 2 or Jackson 5) Anyway, in the early to mid 1990's there was another book by Haley that was made into a CBS television series called Queen. Starred Halle Berry, Raven Simone, Jasmine St Claire, Danny Glover, Tim Daily, Martin Sheen, and many other well known actors. It was about Alex Haley's great grandmother (I think it was great grandmother) Queen. Also the University of North Alabama is the oldest public university in the state, Est 1830. UNA won the national championship in 1993, '94, '95 and was the first school in any level of scholarship college football to achieve this feat. Also, Tom Braly municipal stadium held the D2 national title game from 1986 - 2013 (27 years) I had the privilege if playing on that field myself and went to the high school that was located where that stadium sits. I am a die hard Bama fan, but I will defend the University of North Alabama Lions when the there is a need to lol.
