Canon A-1 vs minolta X-700

Battle of the Pro-sumers camera's. Overall, the Canon A-1 and minolta X-700 are nearly identical cameras. The minolta is a little bit easier to figure out and operate while the Canon is definitely more sinister looking. Both cameras are great picture takers and solidly reliable. It is really remarkable just how similar these two cameras from different manufacturers are.

Howcome Maxxum was dead when Minolta continued with the production. Maxxum 7000 their first autofocus SLR came out in 1985. 3 years after 7000i model came out as a next model. I think they had to re-done autofocus technology from scratch which happend with 7xi model I think.

@@MrGibsonguy335I know that, but they eventually settled, Minolta paid the money. And continue with selling Minolta cameras under Maxxum brand. Far from being dead.

@@MrGibsonguy335I know about that. But I pointed out your mistake, to be exact, you said from 18:25 , X700 stayed in the production long after the Maxxum was dead. The truth is that X700 was still in the production untill late 90s, but so was Maxxum models.

I was up to 987 subs yesterday and now just lost 3. Not encouraging. I'm not real great with my out of date computer and I used to be able to put in key words and even edit my video's but that capability vanished years ago. I just started using a better video camera the last few days but I'm still in a learning curve with it. And the batteries fail just before the ending! I could definitely use a few pointers on KZbin skills.
