Autumn is my favourite season! It’s fantastic. Yay! Gids has uploaded a video! So happy you’ve uploaded!! I was in a department store yesterday and sprayed some Dior Vanilla Diorama. One spray was enough! It lasted the entire rest of the day. I kept sniffing my wrist and I can tell you it smells opulent and very vanilla-y, cosy in the dry down. Now I want to smell the Dyptique one you mentioned 😂❤

Hi, my friend!! Gids, I felt guilty after I mentioned the Dior Vanilla Diorama, because the price is so crazy. But secretly I would like the 40ml too! 😂It’s just so darn expensive. I’m going to spritz the Eau Duelle this week when I get into a store. I’ll let you know my thoughts. Honestly, Gids, you’re so uplifting to watch. I’m so happy you uploaded! I’ve wanted to try A.Barrois fragrances for a while. Generally speaking I appreciate the warmth of Coromandel the white chocolate/patchouli combo works beautifully and Chanel always keeps it classy as we know! I’ll get back to you brother. ❤️🙏🏽

I’ve been told that coromandel gives spicey classy vibe … is that true brother ?

If you like woody spicy fragrances, Coromandel is beautiful, it is however sweeter as you said because of the vanilla and white chocolate in the base. Bleu Parfum is fresh woody and energising, so quite a contrast. Almost like Coromandel is more evening special occasion and Bleu is more daytime/casual but still very refined. If you like warm spicy how about Angel share or Musc Ravageur?

@ thank you so much for the reply champ .. from the price point of view for now , I was looking for a fragrance which is till 200 US dollars .. so the best options which worked were Bleu parfum & coromandel Considering the kind of Spiciness, I loved Chopard incense malaki , Chopard oud malaki , Diptyque tam dao , Chanel platinum egoistee , fragrance du bois Santal complet Didn’t like xerjoff Alexandria II , didn’t like ombre nomade , didn’t like Amouage interlude black iris , didn’t like JPG le Male le parfum ( sweet ) So me being new to fragrance loving community I would consider myself as layman , please help me out here champ .. considering all the above what would you suggest Bleu parfum / coromandel / Please 😁

No problem at all. I would say best to go for Bleu Parfum, it’s easy to wear fresh with woody warm undertones. The smooth sandalwood in the base makes it delightful and is within that price range. Coromandel is $300+ for the 75ml alone. In the UK it’s around £215. I wouldn’t suggest blind buying as you have to really love patchouli even thought it’s got that sweetness and probably the best selling Les Exclusif. Are you near a boutique? Or can you pick up a sample? Take your time no need to rush. I always encourage fragrance enthusiasts to sample and figure out what you enjoy and works for your style and taste preferences. 🙏🏽😉
