The purpose of creating an SSAS instance on top of a data warehouse is to enable efficient and flexible analysis of large amounts of data. SSAS provides a multidimensional view of the data, allowing users to slice and dice the data in various ways to gain insights and make informed business decisions. Bro this is the only video in Yutube with a use case example. Great job.

Hi, at 11:34 when you switched the authentication method which login details did you use? I tried creating a user in the security node in SSMS for SQL Server authentication and gave it sysadmin on the server roles but it dsnt seem to work...

if it has SYSADMIN privileges, it should work.. can u plz tell what error u r getting?

@@mrgogate When I try and test the connection for the users I’ve created I get “Test connection failed because of an error in initializing the provider. I’ve tried creating multiple users with different names and logins just to be sure its not an issue with the login details I’m using, nothing seems to work…
