I had a roadster that was sitting for a while and the clutch plates were stuck I removed the cover and took the plates apart and then re installed them . It worked fine after that.

beautiful job. You're an inspiration. I have a 2001 Roadstar, my intention is to convert her to a bobber. Great Work!

so good to see it outside, haha still getting into trouble at your age doesn't give me much hope, awesome bike and the color combo looks even better in the sun

Congratulations, in achieving that classic, lean, bobber finish on the WildStar (RoadStar in the USA), a real head turner for sure..... .

Finally!!! A beauty...Invite the neighbors for some tea (or beers) and explain them how much time, sweat and love you've put in the build, that should make them more understanding when you fire it up. The bike looks awesome. The only thing I don't absolutely love on it is the headlamp that I find a tad too big now that the bike has slimmed down, but that's just a personal opinion. Now get back to work and post some vids of this girl on the road!

Derek fisher the red one? think I remember that,,,,looks like a great starting point with some good parts already to work with

a lot of it was damaged handlebars exhaust back mudguard seat hypercharger but i would have taken them off anyway i want to use the tank but it is grazed its coming along slowly
@MrHotrod4607 жыл бұрын
Derek fisher I think that's how the best bobbers get built, from a damaged or chopped up project like mine was, it's easier to build up the way you want as it's just a collection of bits at that stage and you can mould it to your taste

Great bike, great build, great video :) I really been enjoying following the build on here - should probably have done the same with mine? Maybe I should do that for the rest of the building process? :D

the headlamp is 9inch, and old Rolls Royce headlamp,, with the wide glide triple trees and a 5inch headlamp,it got lost in there, still may have to change it if it doesn't pass MOT
@thomasdanet38837 жыл бұрын
I didn't notice it isn't the stock one, shame on me. Now regarding the size, taste and colors :). I agree that the wide glide triple leaves a lot of space, I picked a 5 3/4 for mine but I'm a sucker for small headlamps... I've even thought about tiny twin lamps, stacked vertically and asimetrically mounted but it was a tad too Mad Max-ey. Also the rims on mine are 18" so they fill the space between these forks a bit more. I doesn't mean that I doesn't find yours painfully jaw-dropping, but you already know that. When can we see a vid of wheelies back and forth your neighbors alley?
@MrHotrod4607 жыл бұрын
Thomas Danet the forks are about 50mm wider on this compared to a normal wildstar, they are slab top and bottom yokes
@thomasdanet38837 жыл бұрын
Damn, another thing I missed...I noticed the bottom one, but I thought you just machined a new one to replace the stock (which is pretty ugly once you've removed the tin covers), didn't know it was a full new triple. That makes a lot more sense now.
@MrHotrod4607 жыл бұрын
this is how it all started, i saw these on ebay and was buying them for my other wildstar, when i went to collect (five hours drive) he had a frame and motor with papers so i had the lot, see first video, you'll see what i started with lol
@MrHotrod4607 жыл бұрын
Also, the front wheel is a rear rim laced to a front hub, the front is normaly 3inch and the back is 3.5inch, now i have 3.5 inch front and back !!
