MRHS 2019 Arizona State Marching Band Championship Performance

We often look for the WIIFM. The "What's In It For Me?" when we have to work so hard (and we're expected to dedicate ourselves so completely). And on this past Saturday night, you all truly found it. It wasn't just the Ridge parents who jumped up to give you the standing ovation. Everyone was on their feet and cheering. This performance was a true outlier. A cut above. Bravo to you all, and bravo to the other bands who all put on stunning performances that night. A night I'll always remember for sure!

Wow wow wow!!!!! I’m a former MRHS marching band alumni and graduated in 2004. This performance gave me chills and made my eyeballs hurt 😉 So grateful to see that y’all are still amazing!!! We used to play Gershwin all the time for fun. How cool that you did a show! Also… holy crap soloists! Dangggggggggg Thanks for sharing this for us old farts. So powerful to see ♥️

Congrats on the win!! From a highland alum, I saw this show at state semi-finals, and this one was my favorite! I’m so glad you guys won, this show was amazing and definitely deserved 1st!! Good luck to your band next year!! DV is gonna try and make a comeback!
