I looked into the injury thing for myself in my own franchise and if you go onto gameplay settings > general > change to advanced options > injuries > set to manual. Then when you go to the IL on franchise menu you can set players to have various injuries lasting from day to day to 60+ days

The only note is to make sure you switch injuries back off of manual after updating the injured players you want, or the CPU will not have anyone get injured the whole season (no injuries as long as it is on manual). I would also practice with just one injury to make sure it saves when you switch injuries from manual to auto.

Also, for the uniforms, I would not rebrand as you would lose all the options and only have one set of home uniforms and one set of away uniforms. They are not added and just replace all the other options.

One possible destination for Story... Milwaukee. That left side of the infield is pretty bare and they have some decent prospects you could get in return. Assuming youre starting with Opening Day rosters, maybe an Arcia and prospects for Story trade?

This is a great pick for the franchise series. I'm actually doing a franchise mode for the Rockies as well, and we're close to wrapping up the 1st season. My 1st pick turned out to be a potential generational talent at right field and his name is Adolfo Mercedo from the Dominican Republic. He's a 4 tool player that needs to work on his fielding, and I'm planning on him to come up to the majors by late 2022. I've made a couple of trades at the deadline, but I don't want to spoil who I moved, and where I moved them to, but they're moves that I definitely felt would benefit me for the short and long term. Definitely will be interesting to see what your approach is going to be at the deadline. Best of luck Cane for the rebuild, and go Warhawks!

You should download the operation sports full minors rosters. They have all the contracts and minor league players accurately set up. It makes the franchise so much better and gives it a much more realistic feel.

I would definitely trade Story for the best prospect value possible and then have an infield of Cron, McMahon, Rodgers and Hampson. Not outstanding but definitely gonna be decent down the line and potentially some positions you don't really have to address in the draft although I would just go BPA every time. I would also suggest playing minimal games until you have a semi competitive team, I still want to see games and stuff but it might just be a bit of a waste of time when we're on episode 10 and you're just finishing the season with 60 wins lol, that what one of the things I didn't love about the Twins series, I felt like it just dragged for so long

I'm late to the party, but as a huge baseball guy I have a few thoughts. if you trade story this season, make it a realistic deal. flipping him to a team that already has an awesome shortstop like the white sox or Yankees just would never happen. a more realistic situation would be Milwaukee if they're in the hunt by July or even your twins if andrelton doesn't play well. put hardly any focus on your bullpen in the first few seasons. you're going to be bad and investing capital into a bullpen on a bad team is a complete waste. load up on good young starters whenever possible and look to trade for or sign bullpen arms when you're more ready for contention. I'm super hyped for the series and I'm loving the mile high theme, good luck with the rebuild!

Gonna be completely honest I started watching for madden but then stop watching because of madden I’m so happy that ur doing mlb the show again Oh and also the best way to replicate an injury is to remove them from the 40-man roster and send them down to single A And if you do end up trading away Trevor story the trade finder/suggester is broken because it gives you the best prospects but not that many so if you do trade him go around and see what you can get the best deal amount for him

That Rays trade for Story actually looks pretty good (McClanahan and Jones are Top 10 prospects in the Rays system and McClanahan is #73 in baseball) but I would wait until closer to the deadline.
