This is the best anatomy video of TFCC by far I've seen over the internet. Thank you for making such complex structure into simple and understandable subject.

Thanks for this video, makes it easy to understand the different structures gathered in this little tfcc-space. Most helpful for me was the point about pro/supination - since i took care about this, i (hopefully) decreased my false positive reports..

How long does a sprain in the tfcc heal?
@hassana2204 жыл бұрын
Hey Doc, If a MRI mentions an impression does it mean that the radiologist found pathology such as a tear or some kind of tear ? Can a MRI report ever mention "nothing was wrong". Hope i was clear. Thank you
@DrChristophAgten4 жыл бұрын
Sure. MRI scan can be completely normal. Impression is just the summary of relevant findings
@hassana2204 жыл бұрын
@@DrChristophAgten Thanks for the reply, so if my MRI findings are 'thinning of the central disc without final defect, findings can be seen under ulnar abutment syndrome' would that be a normal impression? Or not a normal impression? Please answer that for me. Thanks

believe I have a TFCC. It hurts right under the pinkie like the TFCC do. It only hurts when I fully extend/stretch it vertically and horizontally. Do u think that means it's a self-fix or should I see a doctor. It have been hurting the same for 3 weeks now. I tiny but improvement I would say.

Hi, i m Asad from pakistan. I need help regarding the same issue but little bit different. I broke my ulna and radius in gymnastic, afterwards a surgery was done in which plates were placed with bone grafting on both bones. After that, my pronation was restricted totally. I did mainy exercises but nothing happend. I checked this problem to my doctor and ge said my ulna is longer than radius due which my pronation is stopped and with same time the TFCC is damaged and i also feels pain in wrist. Please guide and help me. I can also send my MRI image.
@DrChristophAgten4 жыл бұрын
Hi Asad, sorry to hear that. I cannot comment on the treatment aspect here. However, if you want a second opinion on your MRI, contact me (email in ABOUT of my channel). thank you

Hi Asad, Sushil here. Same problem this side. I broke my radius and Ulna in a bike accident on July 17th and post surgery(plates on both the bones), I cannot supinate. My pronation is around 70% and my ulna bone pains when i try to rotate more and seems like a blockage. What was the diagnosis for you? And how are you now?
