I did it once as baby and once as a 10 y old, to explore and find the cause of my blindness(first) and to find cause of back pain(second) . Have the tube, and the numerous continuing years of therapy and service to thank forwhere I am today, slightly delayed but fine. Annoying sounds aren’t my big issue, it’s the feeling of being trapped in there. I still find them very fascinating and neat pieces of equipment, even though I hate them.

I had to have an MRI this summer, and I discovered that with the earplugs in and your eyes closed, it was very easy to focus on the rhythm and pitch of the sounds and picture yourself in some technopunk nightclub! People say the MRI is claustrophobic-heck, I was just vibing in there!
