Amazing that you can actually hear a difference via a recording on KZbin. Pro sounds like it has more sparkle.

just got this amp, T9Pro. The coaxial didn't seem to work. No sound through coaxial. The vu meter, at low to medium volume does not move at all . But above all , the unit gets very hot after a few hours at low volume. I didn't think that this amp is going to make it at high volume levels for many hours, so i returned it. The sound with the tone controls at zero ( in the middle), was thin, but without any burn in time. Also, it was not as powerful as i was expecting to be.

Deal me out. In Oz plus very happy with my douk audio st-01 /aka t9 on my pc. Great little class d amp, served me well for over two years now. Well worth the money.

I've got the T9 pro and put a matched pair of 5654w tubes in it, the difference was definitely an upgrade. The sound stage opens up nicely and I have no complaints.

@@chrisgainesuk1974 I was sceptical that they'd make a difference and if they were original and not fakes, but to be honest they do make a difference and I don't care if they are fake or not. I've switched them back and forth with the OEMs and these seem to extend the mids and highs where as the OEMs seem more compressed.

Did you notice that the power adaptor is 96W, while they claim 2x100 W output power? :) In fact, the real output is about 25 W per channel. Still great (ppl usually struggle with log scale) but... I know "more stuff" sells. But... you know. Lying about one obvious thing rises questions about everything else.

The power depends on the adapter voltage and amperage plus the speakers impedance
