I know this really didn’t make any sense and people like that. You gotta be careful when it comes to big sexy, big sexy. You should adjust kept it short because now it’s like gay men is not comfortable, saying whatever they want to say to a straight person, and not their story, it’s not like a gay person’s telling a story and then you become gay that don’t make any sense. How are you uncomfortable

@@Dylan-uq8gp We weren’t looking for approval in the slightest, we just thought he was cool. We see now that this is not a safe space for us, so we’re dipping. 🤷🏾‍♂️ When you live in intersections of sexuality and race, you tend to have different types of people that you are in community with. For many black queer people that includes black cisgendered heterosexual black people. The brother would’ve been fine if he was being authentic, but he wasn’t. He doesn’t set the precedent for all straight black men.

😮It's interesting because I watched his show with Big Sexy the other day. He managed to mask his discomfort quite well. However, it is not safe for gay Black men to attempt forming alliances with straight Black men who have not yet reached a certain level of maturity and acceptance; such alliances can be risky. Out of my 14 siblings, I have 6 straight brothers; they are the only straight Black men I trust entirely.

No @MrJayHill, you're a weirdo. I grew up tell people how I felt. I never stayed in uncomfortable situation without letting it be known. I been a day 1 of your podcast but didn't know how homophobic you were until I watched this episode of your show. If your were uncomfortable you should have a side conversation with him to tone it down but to do that whole show and then do another show to discuss how "uncomfortable" you were with those anti LGBTQIA talking points is scandalous.

Gay men need to respect straight mens boundaries. If straight men don't want them hitting on them or talking abut gay sex then they need to respect that. Gay men are way too over sexualised and can be very sexually aggressive hitting on straight men.

Also, when dude made the comment about sexy red being over sexual, I feel that comment was deflected. ALSO, it’s not gay men being too comfortable it’s men in general. It is imperative to advocate for a dedicated mental health awareness month for all black men but specifically for Black heterosexual men. Historically, from the era of slavery to the present day, Black men have been confined within restrictive boundaries, compelled to conform to narrow and often toxic notions of masculinity. These expectations demand that they present themselves in ways that may not align with their authentic selves, coupled with a persistent pressure to defend their sexuality. Such conditions are undoubtedly exhausting and contribute significantly to mental health challenges within this demographic. Addressing these issues through focused mental health awareness and support is crucial for their well-being.

I’m finding it quite hard to digest the meaning of true friendship these days. Respectfully, I’ll be damned if you interview me, and hype me up, and then do another interview regarding me saying (without saying), “Oh yea I fuck with him! But leave that gay shit over there”. Sir, that’s the whole reason I’m here. I feel like it’s a complete slap to the face in my opinion. 🤷🏾‍♂️

To assert that someone is getting too comfortable is to implicity suggest that they ought to be ok with living in secret and shame. This is in direct contradiction to when you said, "DL men are the worst." This post interview is poorly thought out, too emotional, and does not compute much logic or compassion. What a disappointment.

Gotta agree with the weird contradiction. There is no such thing as "too comfortable" that mentality is why so many of gay brothers get hurt, why the rooms are still going to be uncomfortable for them, and the question is, who are they hurting? But another question is, who are they making happy? Children come out all different kind of shapes, sizes, genders, talents, dreams, deformities, and personalities. I just hope you will be able to love people for how they treat you, because you'll never know how yours will come. Your opinion is yours; we're just commenting on your opinion that you put out now! He is somewhat of a rarity because he has such a big platform and has been able to maintain him being himself. Hopefully soon, there will be more of Big Sexy, speaking the truth, and their facts.

Jay contradicted himself with the Sexy Red response. He picks and chooses when to give people passes to exist as they are. Sounds like he tolerates gay men but he really not rocking with them. But he panders to gay audiences by having gay content creators on his platform. The guy with the locs understands what’s going on and his opinion is respectful and inclusive. I liked Jay’s content but I’m not really feeling his perspective.

I’m sorry, but this post-interview is totally contradictory of his interview with BS. I checked Jay's page to see if he had done any other post-interview discussions after having a guest, and unless I'm mistaken (for which I would gladly apologize), I couldn't find any. However, I don't regularly follow his content. Perhaps his mother noticed something about him as a child that scared her, causing him to further suppress his attraction to other men. Not to mention, it was probably his mother who put her gay friend up to making a pass at Jay just to see how he would respond. A mother always has a gut instinct concerning her child’s sexual preference. I have gay friends who am comfortable around because they are genuinely good-hearted people.
